Bruh the Catelyn hate is unreal lmao

Green Gren

34:35 He literally told that the truth, lol... And it is a truth from what we have seen

Ry.Blair

The snide comments or just general hate towards Catelyn is really getting old and really unwarranted. What the fuck was Fax even on about? If he actually listened and watched the scene instead of pulling stupid faces he would have understood it, "she's a pathological liar".... how tf did you get that from the scene? And in regards to the whole Jamie thing, she didn't do nothing that anyone else would not have done for their kids, and what do you mean she wasn't there for her kids? I mean sorry that they are at war, and she is currently with her eldest son trying to make sure they win and die, like tf? Most of the times, kids weren't even raised with their parents, Ned wasn't, Robert wasn't. So her not being with Bran and Rickon isn't nothing out of the ordinary. (no hate lol just facts)

Alicia saying "They are so twisted" about Margaery and Joffrey but then 2 seconds later Alicia and Fax when Theon is being tortured "YEAH!" "This makes me so happy!" is so ironic

I regret my earlier comment and wish for a new peace between the realms of the ever holy comment section

DeathSwitch

As much as I dislike Theon, I'm not sure anyone deserves to be tortured like that. Just take his head, be done with it

So glad you guys are Watching this it would be cool if yall did walking dead show as well

It's weird. When I watched this live as a teenager I felt bad for Theon (especially when season 3 ended and I started the books from the beginning) but rewatching it as an adult I don't feel for him at all. You'd think it would be the other way round but I guess when I was younger I was more empathetic.

So, an adaption is not the original and I think in general the directors and writers should have freedom to interpret and recontextualize the source material. That is, the show is not the books and I want to make it clear thar my issues with what they changed is just because it's different, it's that it's objectively worse. The books always had their own issues but some of the refreshing things about them is that characters like Sansa and Cait weren't just the very standard sexist stereotypes that you expect them to be given how the genre tends to portray their types of characters. But Sansa in the show is flattened and doesn't do anything than just stay there and get abused. And Cait in the books isn't just like an evil witch stepmother who "couldn't love a motherless son" or wished death on ab infant based on jealousy and spite. Like, that's a pretty sexist stereotype that is a dime in a dozen in the fantasy genre. And that's not what she is the books but it is what she is the show. Cait in the books doesn't hate Jon, she's afraid of him. There is a very long history of trueborn children getting offed by their bastard half siblings out of jealousy or desire for power. Cait tried to meet Ned half way and asked him to send Jon away or have him be fostered by one of his banner man instead of having him be raised with her children as "equals" because she was afraid that it would breed resentment and jealousy in Jon as he got older and was treated differently for being a bastard while also being treated by Ned like he wasn't except for the part where he'll never inherit anything. But Ned refuses for the same reason he didn't just do something about Cerise when she was alive, because he wanted to think better of other people. But Cait was literally right though. I mean, like I don't think any version of Jon would take it as far as killing off Robb and his half brothers. But Jon did grow up resentful and jealous. And book Jon on top of that is actually pretty smart, morally ambiguous at times, and most importantly, ambitious. So when you put all that together, it's easy to understand why book Cait would be afraid Jon was going to kill her kids and try to take over. Again, I don't think book Jon would take it that far, but Cait had no reason to assume he wasn't or would be capable of it one day, she had every reason to be afraid of him. But no, in the show is just an evil lying witch step mother.

I just realized that Loras Tyrell is Iron Fist in the marvel series.

OK nerd time.. So the Wargs, an ancient magic of the first men the people who lived in Westroes before the arrivals of the Andels those from across the ocean. It gives people the ability to enter the minds of animals but to also take them over in way. Once an animal has been entered, they become subservient to the Warg. The Wargs are rare, and the ability is passed by bloodlines. Even so there are Taboos that no Warg shall go against or else be seen as an abomination amongst his own kind. A Warg must never enter the mind of a human, A warg must never force his mind into an animal in order to escape death, a Warg must never mate with an animal while in the mind of animal, a Warg must never eat the flesh of man while in the mind of animal. Also, different animals behave differently while having a Wargs mind within them. Dogs and wolves are the easiest and most inventing due to their kindship. Cats are the hardest as they prefer to keep their minds to their own. Birds are the hardest to leave because once you experience the skies your human body seems so uninviting. Book only stuff unfortunately they just didn't have the time to do deep lore dives in the show. Also a few difference the Warg that we met in this show had a hawk but also a polar bear that hated him. In the book all the Starks have some Warg like ability's but mostly dismissed it as weird dreams. Ned was so good with horses they almost spoke to him. When lady was killed Sansa felt her dying. and Aria could see through the eyes of cats. It's also why the dire wolves followed them. Again never really mentioned in the show just book stuff
