Timing couldn't be any more perfect! I just sat down with dinner thinking about what to watch!

Robb started to lose when Twynn retreated from the front lines. It says a lot that after he kept lossing to Robb, he just went back to the capital and none of the lannister forces have fought Robb since then which they mentioned a few episodes ago. Robb can't keep winning if the Lannisters don't fight him. And then he went and broke his oath to the Freys because he was thinking with the wrong head. Even Lord karstark called him out earlier when he said that Robb lost the war when he married the lady. Karstark lit told Robb outright he didn't believe in Robb winning the war and at that point was just going along with it so he could get his revange on the Lannisters.

That scene in the bathtub has to be one my favorite scenes in the whole show. It might actually be my favorite. It's just so damn we'll done from both actors, especially Jamie though. 5 minutes of pure cinema(and I don't mean this in the meme way!)

A lot has happened since your last video, I broke my ankle 2 days ago, stayed in the hospital overnight and had surgery to fix it just now

Genuinely wouldn't know if executing Catelyn would count as kinslaying. Cause THAT'S a big ass deal in Westeros, but the grounds for having her legally executed are there. Also, I don't know how the people of Winterfell would feel like, having their King chop off his mom's hands lmao

In most of medieval times, you would not kill Catelyn nor Kar-bloke. They would be isolated and under house arrest till end of their days. We have historic evidence of such act. Mind you this is only with European nobility

leviathan_13

How dare you Barristan say that Robert was a terrible king! During his reign everybody was drunk, corrupted, and fucked around! Truly the best time of all Westeros. Look at the reign now!

“Has Catelyn ever shown any regret” there was a scene I think last episode where she says everything that has happened to the starks was because she swore to love Jon snow, “a motherless child”, and failed to do so. Sounds like some regret

Hope they watch HOTD after

Nitpicky, but the son died because Robb put the Lannister messenger in the same cage as Jamie, he then got caught and brought back, where she then let him go again. Its not fair to say the sons death was her fault there, but she did stop them from getting vengeance.

So this is to clarify the number of Rob's army, cause it can get confusing. He started with 18k, lost 2k to the diversion, and gained 4k from the Freys, bringing him up to 20k. He then beat Jaime and broke the siege at Riverun, giving him maybe about 5k more men for his field army, bringing him up to 25k. He then lost the 4k Freys, 3k Karstarks, and maybe around 4-6k in battle, bringing his field army down to 12- 14k (Split between him at Riverun and Bolton at Harrenhall). This is what I think he means by "half our forces gone." Because the Karstarks, although a powerful house, are really only 1 of 5 mega houses in the north.

not Alicia calling out our accents when she sounds like a off-brand American 🤣(sorry, but you came for my accent first lol)

50:00 Well you also learn more about them IF YOU WATCH THE DAMN HISTORIES AND LORE! 😂

Ruukasu97

the right move would have been to keep karstark alive and tell his men that aslong as they are loyal he will not be harmed and once they win this war he will be freed and his crimes will be forgiven
