Apologies for the slight delay in posting this. School holidays cut into my writing time significantly.

Not read it yet but I don’t know if it’s a sign that this was published just as the solar eclipse started where I’m at.

Great chapter. Jon comes clean with Ashara, and they move forward with their relationship. Jon is a strong warg and a headache for Varys. Corbray needs corrected, even if I didn’t like the advice not to kill or maim him. Battles are not controlled settings, what happens is often a matter of chance, as much as skill or physical talent.

Shouldnt Jon Arryn’s heir be Elbert Arryn who was his nephew since in cannon he died in kings landing with brandon or did i miss his death

Jarrod McCurry

There were two Arryn men who would inherit before Harold Harding. Elbert Arryn was the heir, and he died in King’s Landing via execution on the order of the mad king. Denys Arryn fought in the rebellion and died at the battle of the bells.

Jarrod McCurry

Both were higher in the line of succession than Harold

Ooohhhhh! The false dragon.... the 'mummers' dragon. Young Griff is kinda the ok characters just naive in ASOIF and so I kinda hope he survives, considering there aren't many Valyrians left. It'll be interesting to see if war still happens in some way, as from what I know Rhaegar used the tourney as a cover to try and over throw the Mad King. Also, the North, the Stormlands and the Vale were forming an anti-targ coalition too, but I don't know if this is fanon tho. Lastly, Rhaegar was loved by a lot, so I kinda understand why the author is portraying him in a good light, but I don't know.... he kinda left Elia and his children to shack up with a teenager because he was 'burdened' with prophecy. Anyway, thank you for the chapter and I look forward to the next one.

I see another chapter and I reread the story again just to enjoy it more.

I think that certain situations that didn’t happen because of Jon changed everything. The knight of the laughing tree wasn’t Lyanna and that’s what changes everything from that point forward. Not even Hosters ambition could start the rebellion if that didn’t happen. And also the no bethrotal of Robert and lyanna

This story is such a breath of fresh air (content) and never fails to illicit excitement.. good work and thankyou for each update to break from the HP universe

This story is the reason why i stay here. Harry potter stuff is good, but i have less interest on it now. Keep up the great work!

So. In at least 2 episodes of Writer's Block Lee complains about character-appropriate language characters should use. Like that Harry should not use americanisms if he was never in US and such. And now he violates that by Ashara using the word "macho", which as far as I'm aware, is not a word used in Westeros at all. Tsk tsk. Standards slipping.

Lee McCusker (TheBlack'sResurgence)

Macho is not an Americanism. It is derived from Spanish, so no, not standards slipping. You will never see me using words like 'ya'll' or anything typically American in any of my works. Macho is widely used here in Britain

Jakub Horehleď

Of course it's from Spanish. Not my point. My point is that "macho" is not a word that seems likely to be in Westerosi dictionary. Therefore similar in a sense to that americanism I mentioned. But whatever. Just nitpicking really.

Jon can suggest that Tywin should diversify his economy when they meet.

God man, your inconsistencies and refusal to do even the bare minimum of research would be commendable if it weren’t so irritating. How do you go into writing for this time period without getting a basic understanding of who, what, when, where, and why things unfolded the way they did. What makes it worse is that this is a good story at its heart, but it isn’t served well by you making mistakes or looking over things that are as easy to find as a google search.
