The consortium strikes back...

Comments

That made me particularly sad. Well written, Lee!

Muhammad Abdur Rehman

Lee! I cant wait for Harry's revenge. Can we have the next chapter early please.

Rogue

Damn.

Robert

Would have preferred he arrived at least during not after.

Thanks for the chapter. I really don’t see the sense in attacking the farm. It gains them nothing except to make it personal for Harry Evans.

TheNinja

Well can't say as am surprised, I mean Harry did put protections in place for them, but not near as good as his restaurant or home so it shouldn't have come as a surprise that they took the farm.

odzoo

Since Harry J left for Bones Manor in a flashback and we haven't seen anything else yet and he was in the middle of telling Amelia how important she is to him, the attack on the farm may have also interrupted his marriage proposal to her.

Calagon

And now the Hell that is Harry Jameson’s wrath shall be unleashed on the consortium.

Joe Schindler

So instead of waiting and planning to take him out they give him more reason to focus on them by killing those under his protection.

Kevin

At this point, if the harry’s dont go on an killing spree through europe i dont know…

The Consortium has literally done nothing of worth. Attacking the farm and killing the werewolves (or helping Fenrir convince them to rejoin with him) is about the best they are getting out of that, and more to the point, is going to give him an idea/understanding of how they breached the wards so that trick won't really work a second time. Fontaine is now dead, and it would not surprise me if the Consortium comes to the belief Jameson killed him given the timing of the assault on the farm and said mans death. What victory they think they've won is going to be proven hallow almost immediatly. Secondly even a cursory investigation into Jameson's handling of the farm will point out the man only really provided them a sanctuary and a way to live their lives with out endangering themselves. Destroying the farm doesn't affect Jameson's ability to strike at them, rather it will just encourage him to do more (especially if they left dead children in there). Sure, Tom might delay retaliation since he's about to make a scene, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Serpent shows up and slaps him down again while Jameson goes and truly attacks the Consortium for their efforts. Ah well, looking forward to the next chapter.

TheNinja

This consortium are a real bunch of dumbasses ya know? I mean just so arrogant and full of themselves and drunk on their so called huge power and influence they think they are untouchable. I't laughable that they think this will do anything to stop or hinder Jameson, all they have been doing is fueling his rage and hate towards them. I mean at this point they are all living on bided time, it's not a matter of if, but when both Harry's come for them. And they best prepare for the wrath of Jameson because no matter what they do they wont be prepared.

Steve

I’m really not sure of why they decided to attack the farm? Since it only makes Harry want them more dead, but doesn’t really seem to have a purpose outside of angering him. I guess we’ll see where you take this next but I think I’ll let a few chapters build up so I don’t get hit with a cliffhanger.

Stephen Tracy

My thought is 'Reaction to assuage their fear/pride' rather than 'This will remove Jameson as a threat.'

Home of the Brave

I always thought the farm was going to suffer at some point in this story, especially after Fenrir escaped. This happening through the consortium just means Jameson can be a little more heavy handed the next time he deals with them.

They are about to find out that when you boop the tiger you get the horns. It's going to be burtal

Hadrian v.E.

Cunts like this cabal are pathetic and can only take out their impotence on the innocent.
