Ahhhhh!!!! I am BEYOND intrigued by this new brainchild of yours. Setting up Merlin as the antagonist (or at least the main one, I'm assuming) is a fascinating concept, and I have NO IDEA where you'll take this, but judging by your previous works, it will doubtlessly be epic. I hope there is--eventually--interaction between Harry and Arthur. That just sounds spiffing! (Lol) And I'm so curious who Harry's love interest will be. Morgana? (They're of an age.) An OC? Can't wait to find out!

Great chapter, the whole mystery element of prophecy and reading the stars as we have seen the centaurs do is very interesting and I wonder if it will be fleshed out to give harry a bit more help in what he is to do. After all he is only a 14 year old untrained wizard who is supposed to go up against Merlin

I feel like both Merlin & Nimue's motivations are sound, cause not all non-magiks are evil like not all magicals are pure of heart, and so I'm kinda unsure who to root for. I do find the whole Harry looking like his Dad, Slytherin, Tom & a Black kinda silly. Also, are you playing onto the trope that he was malnourished? Definitely wasn't well fed by the Dursleys, but you'd think during his time under Hogwarts, particularly Pomfrey's care, he would've 'fattened' up. It's est. that he got to his Dad's height in the 7th book. All the Founders seem to have great personalities about them and so I'm looking forward as to how write them more. Anyway, thanks for the chapter and I look forward to the next.

Great opening chapters. I love the set up, and I love Morgana getting witchy in the woods. Please more of her! A few things I want to bring to your attention as a reader: - I have read a lot of your work, and loved a lot of it, but I think that your writing lacks the energy that it did for Whispers or Roses. Im not sure, but it feels mechanical to me. Have you lost your passion for writing? - the file format of these word documents is difficult to read. I suggest putting a space between each paragraph break. Thank you !

Maybe it's already been explained and I missed it, but how is Harry able to understand everyone around him? He shouldn't be able to understand folks from that far back... I mean, it's not really central to the plot, but even just a one-liner about the Lady of the Lake granting him that knowledge would satisfy me though xD Great story so far!
