Appreciate the effort & the level of detail from Harry travelling to his eventual house selection. I'm not sure why you're persisting with Harry being the Black Heir. Felt it would've benefited the story if Sirius found someone. Also, I felt there was a lot more to unpack in the 10-year gap, more convos b/w Lily & Sirius, Snape's mindset, Dumbledore's thoughts & a other POVs. Anyway, thanks for the chapter and I look forward to the next.

That's usually how it goes though with lot of the stories, usually there is a time gap of sorts between when Harry is taken in and when he starts at whatever school he ends up going to. Guessing reasoning for that is not much would be going on so much story wise or author might think not much going during that time period totally necessary to the overall story or there might be some stuff in that time period that will be brought up later on in flashback or something too. Either way is common and not unusual to happen. Pretty much expect it at this point. Besides...ya never know Sirius could end up finding someone, he did say this would not have Sirius and Lily being together or any of that so perhaps Sirius might still end up with someone though I doubt Lily since she already did find her one and only in James, but could be wrong. Time will tell to see what happens.

The 1st post is a prologue. The next is Chapter 1. This 4th post is Chapter3. This is consistent with most, if not all, of Lee's stories.

Harry’s nickname here should the Stormbringer because from what I have gathered that is exactly what he will be bringing when he returns to Britain though I imagine he will not be so wllling to sit and listen to the pompous pricks talk like Sirius has. I do somewhat envy Harry here for actually looking forward to school, I never once looked forward to or enjoyed school til I started in college, and that was the first time I ever actually looked forward to or enjoyed school education. Yeah would be foolish of ole snak face to try to breach Illvermorny plus I imagine given their experiences with Gellert Illvermorny would be much less tolerable to another dark lord than Britain and much less forgiving too. Out of all the new people I definitely like Marisa the most so far, she just treats Harry like a normal person regardless of wha fame he might have even if she is a bit out of sync with it all she stil engages him like a normal person which I am sure endears her all the more to him since that is what he wants and doesn’t want to do with all the fame his name has. I can see her becoming a close friend in the future just based off this first meeting. I mean this right here is all the more a better entarcne to a magical school than Hogwarts, least they don’t gotta worry about crossing an unknown lake worrying about creatures beneath the waters trying to drag them under or anything. Something tells me the Wampus table not having as many students there was no coincidence, some story there I am guessing much like how Slytherin has a reputation that the Wampus group has one as well. Will be interesting to see how ya have the different places where students stay and see the exploring of the school too since it was never delved much into

Good call. I missed that. We now have Prologue, Ch 2, Ch 2, Ch 4, and today is Ch5.

Plus lot of the stories have something to do with the Black family in some form and they play a large part in the stories even the few that weren't still had characters in them that were similar to Blacks like Avalon with Morgana...to me she felt like she was in some ways quite similar to Bella.

Just saying no way does he grow up active outdoors in Texas and hasn't heard a pissed off snake. Especially if it's East Texas where it's a party for most snakes, but wet enough all their swamp cousins can come play too.
