This is where the story takes quite the turn...

So cruel to take away narcissa like that but I do love it! Please do something about bellabitch soon!

Sal

Honestly, they had to have seen that coming… they did nothing to curb belatrix, and she knew where they were all the time. Don’t like what you did with narcissa. There’s already too much plot line. You sent her to another world where she’s losing her memories, or Lost her memories… unnecessary if you ask me.

Lee McCusker (TheBlack'sResurgence)

At what point was it said she has lost her memories? She is remembering things from a life that she hasn't lived. Re-read what the cloaked figure said, my good man

Kevin

Soo… now his old timeline voldy gets some action? Damn, that was cruel…

Rick Malone

This…was a twist. It’s definitely unique and not where I thought the story was going. But like someone else commented, there’s a lot of plot to follow already, so I hope this little side trip doesn’t take multiple chapters - the main story is more than enough. I am obviously awaiting the next chapter to see how it goes. Still love the story!

Ondrej Mišo

Wow, this was not what I expected at all, but I love it. Contrary to the others, I hope this part of the story gets enough coverage to meet some survivors from original timeline and describe the world where Voldemort is winning.

Sal

Ok but what’s the point. It’s not even his narcissa right now. She’s just starting to merge with Harry’s. She’s gonna have all these memories of Lucius and draco.. there really was no point in going back to his original work. But whatever, it’s not like you listen to us anyways. I still think that it was unnecessary, but I’ll continue to read and see where it goes.

Lee McCusker (TheBlack'sResurgence)

That is your opinion and you're entitled to it, but it seems to me that you ha e not taken everything in from the chapter. There is more than enough there for you to see where that is going, and I don't do things without reason. I never have in my stories and I never will

Kamila M

Man... That was cruel of you... I cried when Narcissa died. On one hand I would like to Narcissa alive once again thanks to Death's magic and get happy end for Harry but on the other hand Narcissa stayjng dead will be very intresting plot twist indeed. And unusual in your stories. Can wait for next chapters! Hope that this little fillers in original time line will be short ;)

Clephne

I hate you

Andrew

Gahhh that was heartbreaking, but he has a chance to get her back thats what matters. Cant wait for the next chapter.

Francis

Holy shit this was an epic chapter!!! I can’t wait to see if Harry will meet any old friends when he’s back in this world. As well as the two cissy fussing together against the clock oh man just when I thought it was coming to a close you hit me with this! Absolutely loved this chapter man and can’t wait til Sunday to have the next one! Ah I’m so excited hahaha feel like a kid at Christmas

I actually like the plot twist and the “side plot” that some of the other commenters are against. This is unique and original, giving us something else to keep in mind. The only thing I don’t like is having to wait a few days in-between the chapters, LOL. Keep up the great work!

Seananagan

I love the idea of Harry going back, but this version of Narcissa having to have memories of being with Lucius and having to deal with him and likely his Death Eater buddies depending on when they are for however long this takes is definitely not something I am looking forward to. I love your writing so I am remaining optimistic though. Especially to see who else he interacts with along the way and how that plays out. Thank you!

letr1994

While I honestly love the plot twist, if anything because I never saw it coming, and believe there is a great potential in the idea, I have to agree in that I hope this side quest, doesn't take to much chapters. I understand that so far Harry was able to get what he wanted, and that there is a need for conflict, and hardship, because he is in war, and things aren't always easy or good. Truly this is Harry's fault, he should have put Bella down last time, he KNEW what leaving her alive could mean, but he probably assume that it would be others that paid the price, not his family, he was a fool. I hope that when merging their souls that Peverell comes a top of Malfoy, Cissa was happy, Narcissa while older really wasn't. The problem will come in that despite how much of a scum Draco is, he is still Narcissas son, and Harry can't make the same mistakes that he already did, he should put the Malfoy line to dead, and this will cause a internal conflict between Cissa, who wants to love her husband, and Narcissa who may or not love Draco. I really hope you kill the 2 Malfoys, Snape and Bellatrix Also, you are a sadistic bastard, but can't stop reading your stories. Damm you to the deepest pits of Tartarus.

I've cried a lot in this story and am relieved that Narcissa should eventually come back to life permanently, not like Charlie in The Green in the Gray. Thinking about it, it makes sense that Harry takes care of Voldy about his timeline, but he disappears from there, he has no future left in the universe he comes from and in which he never had a future if I understand correctly. I'm not sure I understand one thing: the cloaked figure basically told Harry that his Cissa's soul is merging with that of Lady Malfoy and if she doesn't give him the missing fragments of Voldy soon it will be permanent, so now it's basically a fight against time to get her Cissa back and not whatever comes out of the merger (because Lady Malfoy is too different from her Cissa, regardless of the age difference). So is Harry having this fight against time, or didn't I get it? English is not my language so .. I ask you. I don't mind going back to the original timeline, because from what I've noticed you tend to resolve the uncertainties and it would have been a burden for Harry to leave an entire universe with Voldy, but I hope it will be quick (although maybe it's too much hope to see Voldy. as it reappears in the other reality).

Kevin josepj

So what will he have to go to future take care of the soul pieces then go back in time and leave Voldemort alive. How will it be that she will have the memories of a child she loses by going back in time won’t she already have feelings for draco how can she choose to go back in time with Harry and know that she is leaving a child she has known longer

ck

I don't understand the hate this chapter is getting - this is a great twist that no one could've predicted, although I am not sure how long this "side quest" is going to last. The only thing I really disliked about the story so far was Harry sparing Bellatrix, not once, but repeatedly. Thus allowing her to kill more Muggles, help Voldemort recuperate and now kill Narcissa, who was ironically the reason Bella wasn't put down in the first place. At the very least he could've made her senile like Lucius at the end of the last encounter, but no, free transport back to the Dark Lord's base was what he decided to do. Anything less and Narcissa would've been "upset". Consequently, I find it hard to be devastated by Narcissa's "death". Hopefully Harry doesn't find any more weak, contrived reasons in the future to not kill Bella, once he comes back to this timeline.

Eh, I disliked how Bella is alive as well, but it adds to the plot. The Black family doesn't want to forsake someone without just cause, and Harry doesn’t want to just start killing off everyone with a dark mark (this would be too easy on his part and kill the plot of the story). That's why we had the chapter of Harry asking the various Black family members about what he should do regarding Bellatrix. Now that Bellatrix has publicly chosen a side, Harry now has the just cause to kill her without remorse and without any of the Black family interrupting. Also, we get to see how personal it gets between Riddle and Bellatrix, and why Riddle chose Bellatrix to hide one of his horcruxes. I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens in Harry’s OG world and if we’re going to see interactions with his old friends/Albus/others.

ck

I partially agree. Sparing her life the first time was acceptable, when he owed a debt to Arcturus and Bellatrix hadn't clearly chosen a side, as you say. But the second and third time, she had quite obviously chosen a side, and was already killing like it was going out of fashion. No excuse there and every death that Bella brought about after that was on Harry's hands at that point. Marrying into the Black family isn't carte blanche for Black family members to do whatever they want without reprisal, it's not the mafia. I also agree with the fact that it would be too easy to kill her and shorten the plot, especially with Voldemort eventually entrusting Bella with one of his Horcruxes - I am just saying there is no proper in-story reason for Harry giving Bella enough chances to make Dumbledore blush.

I find it weird that the author hype the Blacks every chance he gets when there is character development time, but when hell breaks loose they are wet tissue paper; for example Narcissa thinks her mother, Druella, is a formidable witch, when she was pulling her wand on her daughters when they were arguing to diffuse the situation, and then her cowering with her granddaughter later. But considering how it was from Narcissa's viewpoint I can understand how one-sided that can be. The author established early that Narcissa is more comfortable as a healer than a duelist. But he should have written more on if she didn't respond well to the Black family training, or if she did get any training at all from her grandfather/family in the past. That would've explained why she didn't put that much of a resistance at St. Mungo. I don't mind the conclusion of this chapter, it adds tension that is appreciative, but not the build up to this. Harry keeps on thinking this is the silence before the storm yet does little to prepare, but play quidditch. From all that big talk in Wizengamot, Harry just sits back and let his enemy recuperate. And you hear little from the Black family about preparations like wards, or taking precautions. Perhaps the Blacks are just all talk after all. And I agree with some of the commentors about making up contrived reasons to keep Bellatrix alive for the sake of the plot.

semtex86

I wish the story expanded more on the Blacks, because there is some big differences of powerlevels between the members; some are formidable while others are not. Arcturus and Bellatrix seems to be the former while the rest seems to be the latter. Druella cowering in a corner with her granddaughter when she was mentioned earlier by Narcissa to be a witch not to be trifled with rings hollow now. And Narcissa not putting up much of a resistance at St. Mungo. I agree that it's hard to be upset by Narcissa's "death" when Harry keeps making contrived reasons to not kill Bellatrix. All his big talk in the Wizengamot was perhaps all talk after all. What bothers me that he didn't prepare sufficiently after all that talk with Bagnold to take things seriously, and went to play quidditch. Nice priorities there, Harry.

That was a really exciting chapter. Looking forward to seeing how things go now that the story is moving in a slightly different direction.

Rob M

Well that was a direction I wasn't expecting. While I'm not disappointed, I hope this next arc of the story wraps up quickly. I am really enjoying the story.

udm17

For all his aim and hatred to kill the dark lord, a part of Harry still wants to lead a normal life with his wife and daughter, and with Voldie on the low for some time, he kinda settled into that groove.

Eucline Vincent

That was completely unexpected! Cheers!!

prithvi raj

I love the fact that Harry is a professional seeker but the circumstances are wrong. When he knows or can know who are death eaters, he should have taken action. If your enemy is not playing fair, you can’t afford to. Bellatrix is a lost cause, I hope you don’t have any redemption for her, like how she is mentally insane or like that.

Doubledoor

I did NOT see that coming. I really look forward to Harry hopefully meeting the remains of the og order in the original timeline.

Bob

This was really awseome. I like how things are going, this certainly new and quite uniqe though i don't understand what will happen to the other narcissa when he brings her to death and will She have memories of both worlds, I really didn’t get this part but i like your surprises and i hope he kills lucius and draco in his way while he is there😈😈.

Orion Nebulous

Loved it! And it’s “funny” because I had an odd feeling hat something bad was going to happen to Narcissa...

Rahul Sinha

Woah, I honestly thought that this was getting predictable but you just changed the whole game, nice work

When the s today’s update coming

I hated this chapter. The rest of the story has been brilliant, but this was not to my taste. The idea of your wife merging together with someone who has been Lucius Malfoy’s wife is.... not for me. You should have had Narcissa become a ghost traveling through Magical Britain, and see how it had become, learning about Harry at the same time. Not merge it with the soul of another. The very idea that they are two different souls, indicate that they are different. Meaning that the girl Harry married will no longer be the same, as we have already seen what happens when souls merge in Harry. Not for me at all. I hope Harry will just extract Narcissa’s soul, instead of the merged one.

Steve Mccormick

Harry will now become the avenger of death(the Baba Yeager if you will for all deatheaters and voldemort himself. Death will sort this out for Harry and what I think will happen to Malfoy in Harry's original timeline will not be pleasant!
