Can someone talk me thru using Open Office instead of Microsoft? It was working and now every time I try to read Microsoft tries to open it and I can;t figure out hot to switch it to open office?

if they haven't changed it from the olden days you should be able to right click it -> properties and somewhere in there are options for opening files by default with different programs
