Based on the set-up and plot, the name choice makes the most sense. That said I’m irrationally glued to the idea that he stays a Potter! Hopefully somewhere down the line the truth will out.

Evans was the right way to go. For someone that disliked the attention his name and fame brought him, becoming a Flamel would have been more of the same.

Once again a great chapter! I had a hunch that you would go with that name, Flamel would have been awesome but Evans is really the better choice.

I liked how you navigated the cultural differences of England in the current time period as well as the transition to harry's name selection. I suspected he'd pick evans once he decided against flamel, its the only name relevant that he could use with connection to his life Eager for hogwarts to begin soon
