A bit meta, but it could be amusing to see the duality that is Durge's default strength stat vs his physical appearance. It's rather amusing that despite how beefy the dragonborns tend to be, he still does have to contend with the sorcerer stat block.

A bit classical but I would like to see two Durges back to back in a mirror effect. One smiling like an adorable goofball dragonborn (perhaps at the sight of Tav ^^), the other with the frenzy that suits the follower of Baal so well

Preface: I'm NOT trying to talk over you or meddle in buiness between you and AM. My sole intention behind this comment is to share views and imaginations and just maybe help with ideas how your request could potentially be realized without contradicting established scenes like Durge tearing apart people with his bare hands. I personally always assumed that the stats we see on the spreadsheet are supposed to give an idea of how great a characters' trait is in relation to the maximum of what their respective species can potentially be. Like, how matter how you look at it, a gnome can never be nearly as physically strong as a humanoid three times their mass. And then there's also the mass differences between specific specimen and that reality called sexual dimorphism. Yet a diminutive gnome woman can still have 20 strength as much as a hulking male half orc or dragonborn can. So I my headcanon is that this number is supposed to give an idea how strong/agile/etc. a character is in relation to what he/she COULD potentially be if they trained it to the max, and the system/dungeon treat the value the same regardless of race and gender just for simplicity's sake. So if I imagine how your idea (which I really like by the way) could be exemplified, one possibility I can see is Durge challenging a dragonborn paladin to a bout of arm wrestling (possibly dared to/egged on by Tav) and nearly getting his hand crushed for his troubles. Then he's left wondering how there's such a difference between them despite Durge far surpassing half the group in objective strength.

I'd like to see a situation where Tav and Durge sleep close to the campfire because they had celebration the evening before or they are the second night watch and Tav, being an unruly sleeper, has rolled onto Durge in her sleep. Which leads to the woken Durge discovering that his namesake isn't he only internal conflict he can have... I imagined this mostly SFW, but I wouldn't mind NSFW if you think that works better.
