Thanks to Geoff at Silvertip films for shooting this for me! 7 minutes away It’s over You turn your face to the window Ask me if I have any questions That may bring me some closure 6 minutes away I pause What is there left to ask You’ve already called me on my insecurities And my flaws 5 minutes away silent no words to change Your already made up mind Still silent 4 minutes away You sigh place the stray hair behind my ear with pity, kiss me on the forehead Wipe the tear from my eye 3 minutes away Savouring I take a deep breath, inhaling Remind my self to remember your smell Your everything 2 minutes away Standing You pull me to my feet My knees buckling with defeat Reality crash landing 1 minute away the goodbye You hug me tight Attempting to make the broken pieces right You cry Your driver has now arrived You freeze I kiss your lips one more time Break the etiquette to break my mind I leave.
