I'm glad Tinder wasnt around in my youth, I lent a girl a cassette (the old tape things) when she gave it back she had put her landline phone number (as we didnt have mobiles) in it with a line saying "Phone me, your nice ") I did :)

Ok, so, based solely on the fact that you joined Tinder (proof occasional cute fit clever females are to be found in there somewhere) I joined, I paid and I paid some more, etc, hey, do something, do it all the way, right ? This is like 2 weeks ago now, so, I know as with all these sites, that 'admin' create accounts and send a like or a one off chat to keep you paying but then drop off almost immediately, (yeah i did a little research) I also know that every day or so I will get a message saying i have a new 'like' or such, and when i log in, no such thing has occurred.. .. However, I aim to give it a proper go, as I previously worked 6-7 days / nights a week and moved around the country for past 10 years, but am now in a new area, no longer working crazy hours and can actually date....but, so far, 'matches' either do not respond to message, or respond with little one liners that go nowhere..so i've yet to get my first 'tinder' date ..based on your update, Im now waiting to either date myself, or a drug queen.. lol you give me hope Miss Janet hahaha ;)

Back when Match.com was the thing I was chatting with this girl off and on. Wasn't attracted to her but we had nice enough conversations. She was a goth so had a bit of a dark outlook on things so I always tried to be a positive influence. I don't know what led to this but one night it was a little too dark and I was concerned for her well being so I got her to agree to meet me at a Starbucks (of course) near her. I wanted to check on her and was fully prepared to call someone if need be. I got there and sat down with her for probably an hour and was able to get her to talk enough about herself that I realized she was not going to hurt herself....she was just "super goth". Msg'ed her when I got home to make sure she made it ok....and that was it

Had another girl quiz me about myself on a first date....determined I was boring because I did not drink, smoke pot, ski, or snowboard.

Another girl in Hollywood showed up for a coffee date stoned out of her gourd. Proceeded to knock over almost everything on the table over the course of the next 20 minutes

And then there was the woman that had her kid call after 20 minutes about an "emergency". She confessed to it but still only stayed for another 10 minutes. It was ok, I wasn't feeling it either. There should be a service for that.... someone would get rich 😝

Many first date quizzes revolve around why I don't drink....most assume I am in AA 😋... Most don't believe I just don't like the taste. Then we have the topic of marriage and kids...they assume there is something wrong with me if I have not been married and divorced by now. And kids...I am ok with kids ..I am ok without kids...I am ok with someone who wants kids....I am ok with someone that doesn't want kids. But the one thing that confuses people is saying I do not want to have kids with someone that is simply not mom material but I am happy to be with them and not have kids.....not a lot of second dates after that conversation 😳😬

And as to this video....It just makes the point that Janet will be doing a one woman show on Broadway someday if she ever decides that is something she wants. Your presence and ability to hook your audience is amazing...not many people can do that👍🤗💞

I think crazy dates happen all around the world. A fun place to meet people when you travel for a living is at the local grocery stores in your travels. You still have the crazy dates, but you at least have an idea of the person's diet before the first date. A healthy diet will make for a healthier person I think.
