Speak - raw footage from the studio (Patreon)

Here I am recording Speak at RAK studios in London. As you can see, I look a bit broken so I wasn't sure I was going to share this! I believe I had sung this 3 or 4 times already that day, and the final audio we used on the album was a hybrid from those takes. Here is a full run through of me singing Speak, using the final track over the top., I think it's fair to say I was in the zone!! 🌚 Had to go to a happy place after this!!

I know I’ve tackled so many dark topics on this record but for some reason, this track is the hardest one to sing. I know that what happened was 10 years ago but some things will always feel raw. In a way, I think that’s why I enjoyed doing this live so much. It felt real and I felt the sadness that I had back then. But with every time I sing this song, the events of what happened own me less and less. I really hope you enjoy. It's beautifully sung yet at the same time invokes pain. True art but one that may bring out the best in people.
