Here’s a wee BTS of me prepping for an online show. It’s never a quick process. I usually pick out around 30 - 40 songs and then I’ll whittle that down to around half a dozen which I can actually sing 😆 It always takes me a few days to imprint melodies and song structure. Especially melodies… your girl just takes a while to get it haha

This recording is the start of day two, as you can tell by the mishaps. I’ll have another few afternoons running the songs ahead of the Lounges. So hopefully the songs should be more ironed out lol 😆 J x

If you go down I'm going down too is me and my bestie's jam, haha, and far too true xD And that Captain's hat is a look, haha, you tend to look great in hats in general

Practising just to mess up anyway is a talent that you possess

HELL YEAH, hope a Steeldrivers song or two makes the cut 🥰 Fun fact, Country Roads is about the western part of regular Virginia, not West Virginia. The Shenandoah doesn't even run in West Virginia, yet those posers have claimed it as theirs's XD

These bts are always a joy but it's more amazing to me to watch you just being a "normal" person. So many people are afraid to show themselves being true instead trying to show a packaged show piece that doesn't excyst in real life. You are brave in ways that so many will never understand. Sorry I'm starting to ramble, just keep beimg true to yourself is all I'm trying to say. The other night I imagined you singing a Janetised version of Take on Me by A-ha, I think you would nail it. Have a wonderful night when you read thing. Stay safe lovely

See now you're complaining that it takes you "a while" to get the melodies, while for most of us "getting" the melodies is actually outside our physical capacities. So give that lovely voice of yours some credit now and then!

You bring utter joy to an uncertain world. Thank you so much Janet. Stay safe my lovely online goddess

Where do I start...'little darling' LOL!...LOVED these songs! Country Roads was a HUGE hit before you were born. We all loved that song. Do you know the Beatles song: 'In My Life'? That is my favorite Beatles song.
