Now criticism is not something I'm against and I'm like any other flesh and blood human being, criticism helps me improve, but sometimes it can cut me a lil, but I tend to not take any criticism I get as an insult, but this one I got from someone who shall remain anon was a bit weird. They tried to say that me asking my guys what I should do for comics, like what outcomes should be, who should be trasnformed and into what-- that depending on you guys for input on where I should take a story is a sign of me being a weak writer. Now while I'll accept I'm far from an amazing writer, I find that I excel at parody or satire, situations that basically are so outlandish they could happen, I see asking your audiences input on story decisions to be a great way of giving back  to the people who have given me so much.Am I weird for wanting to know what you guys want to see?Does that make me less of an story teller?I always thought story telling was a bit open source and that an ego is dangerous when it comes to trying to tell a fun story. I think asking my audience what they want to see or what they think of something hearkens back to when marvel and dc would actually poll fan feedback to know which direction to take their tale into.I won't sit here and act like I just take all suggestions and run with them, but I genuinely care. JocGo Epilogue's story was literally written by me asking you guys what you wanted to see and going from there. When you guys voted on what you wanted, it gave me parameters to write with and allowed me to then build upon a rough story outline and overall have a damn good time doing it.Sure I can write my own stuff with my own ideas, like Lilac Tides or Scary Solar System, or even the first JocGo, and most of my alt ending stuff, but I genuinely enjoy drawing the sorts of things my audience wants to see. So weigh in on your thoughts on this mindset.Tell me, does it bother you guys that I ask for input? That I ask a lot of questions? I've been wondering and sort of doubting my self on this subject ever since i received that criticism. Though one of my friends said its just cuz this person doesn't have a patreon membership with me and can't directly vote on the outcome on stuff and its just a case of sour grapes, where maybe he/she feels a bit upset that there's a 'paywall' in front of those polls. However, I do ask my dA followers similar questions  and for their input as well, its just I know that anyone who is willing to give me money in these difficult times must want to support me on a serious level and because of that I can't help but want to favor their input over others simply because lets face it, you all are paying my bills, why wouldn't I want to hear what you have to say?

It doesn’t really bother me. Although I confess I rarely contribute to those discussions because I prefer to be surprised with where a story goes, without input from me.

Not at all. I don't know how many of your viewers are writers but i certainly am not. A skilled writer asking for input isn't that different from a commission. For some, it's probably the best chance they'll see an idea they're crazy about brought to fruition. I'd say ignore that particular criticism and continue being awesome

It sounds like the criticism you would get from someone trying to hide the fact that he has a very fragile ego and is projecting his hang-up onto you.

That criticism sucks because of how you handle it. 1. You ask for input and run with it, its not like the fans/readers are dictatung everything 2. You don't ask for suggestions every time you post. This sounds like projection if you want my honest opinion. Someone is putting their crap on to you, or they have a VERY bad vision of what's actually happening.

It doesn’t bother me at all. In fact I like when you ask us. As far as critics are concerned. The real jerk ones try to make you change things for there own benefit. Those ones ya just gotta ignore. 😁

I find the way you run things interesting. I personally don't think you asking for input on moving a story along is a bad thing at all. It helps build a connection with your audience.

I don't think who should be transformed and into what is a sign of writer. I think art not about what and about how and that you can write about what people would like see more and we enjoy this is a sign of good writer.
