 Harmony and I are debating how to fill out the last skill stone slot. [Ink Heart] is still appealing to her. But I'm not opposed to suggestions. This poll may not decide the outcome, but I'm curious what your thoughts are.

What was the in-story rational for her interest in ink heart?

As a suggestion, a storage skill could be interesting for her. Given how storage rings are common for the upper class, storage skills, no matter how rare, are going to be in lower demand since that takes up a whole skill to do what equipment can. (So she might have a chance to afford one if it crops up) Meanwhile for Harmony it helps both with her armor eating clothes if she can shunt them into the storage skill, and her Stride not letting her carry things. Synergy wise, it would be cool if she can store skill casts for later. For circumventing her silence CD, maybe keeping a fully charged kick at the ready while paying the cost ahead of time, or perhaps even storing extra Harmony's worth for Stride sacrifice.

Heart are generally stamina/endurance skills, or physical boost. Right now she can clear the 6th floor[Forthcoming] but is pretty exhausted by the climb. Ink heart also appeals because she's a bit obsessed with her progress and observation journals, and always kind of wanted a class related to being a writer or scribe. She also has some confidence in handling "uknown options" and figuring out some useful synergy.

Usually linked to writing, art, signatures, contracts, tattoos, as well as material manipulation. To a lesser extent darkness, black, staining. A very slight risk of curse-like effects. Ink manipulation is a skill writers and artists can get and probably the most common time you see it mentioned. Tattooists exist but are not common and can have ink based skills, don't we all like tattoos coming to life as summons?

So she has one more skill slot to help her with the dungeon? I was thinking of it just cause it sounds interesting towards her future. Though another reason is I am guessing this is one of those stories where chosen skills effect class options.

Tattoos sound meh. Material manipulation sounds right up Harmony's ally. Though those two things sound pretty unrelated and skills so far have overall been made to do a single thing. Aside from tattoos to boost stamina I don't see much correlation. If it is that route though I would hope it is something more like make up as Harmony is great at that. Though I can imagine someone screaming hearing about ink as make up.

At your point in the story she has two more class skills and one more skill slot. She got her 2nd to last class skill that has helped her get to 6th floor. One more class skill and one more skill stone skill and then the push to evolve. Everything effects evolution choices, I know where I'm taking her profession, class is still in flux in my mind, though I do know what her post evolution "Evolved skill choice" leanings will be unless I surprise myself [Which happens more often than you think]

A more domestic choice could be interesting. Right now her priority is survival and evolution. With the 3rd arc being the ascendant games, that might be possible within that. My vague far future idea of an academia [new kingdom] setting for the 4th arc that is more likely. But I'm more discovery writer than planner, so things can and often get derailed.

By ink as make up I meant applying make up to give stamina boosts or other effects.
