For the sake of understanding this season, you'll see certain periods and events played over music, my understanding is that those things are happening over courses of weeks if not months. So there can be time skips without it being clear that was happening

So just know season 2 definitely has mixed reviews. I personally enjoyed it, but I can understand why people were upset with it from some perspectives. In their defense, it is HIGHLY speculated that Arcane was meant to be a longer show, easily between 3 and if not 5 seasons. But due to many issues such as covid, first time series as you know from bridging the rift, time and money, Riot Games most likely decided to cut it down to 2 seasons. During their season 2 post release tour, Christian always said it was post to be 2 seasons, but many just dont believe it. And if it adds to it, or why it was also complicated, the writing team went from 10-12 writers in season 1 (according to credits), with Alex and Christian mostly overseeing final scripts, but not writing them. And with season 2 Riot let go of majority of the writing room and jt was just Amanda from season 1, Christian and Alex. And given season 1 took roughly 5-6 years and season 2 - 3 years, they basically almost spent 10 years on one project and 250 million dollars. I technically dont know if Riot got any roi return on income (I dont know how streaming deal works) but again thats a lot of time and money for one project that might not make any money back. So yeah, season 2 is definitely a lot in a short amount of time. I enjoyed it, even with its flaws. While many others just thought they dropped the ball.

funny tid bit - when Heimdeinger tells Ekko "the bramleback has left the jungle." It's a joke because in league, there are jungle creatures that the jungler usually farms to get xp and coin. Typically Ekko plays top or mid lane, but he can jungle. Heimddeinger though mainly stays in lane and farms (since his archetype in-game is mage who can build turrets and enhance them) Also the music that plays from Sevika's arm is the Jinx's theme song, from her music video Riot made almost 10 years ago. It also played very briefly in episode 1x4 when Silco is mad at Jinx after stealing the gemstone

LOL love this show! How is the Season 2 music so far? I got all of them on my Spotify, you would make a great Jinx cosplayer!

Christian Linke said they didn't make any money of "Arcane", as Netflix paid roughly 5 mill. dollars per episode but they invested around 10 mill. dollars per episode. Nicolo Laurent additionally said that they didn't make "Arcane" to sell expensive skins, but sell expensive skins to do things like "Arcane" with it. 🤔 I personally liked season 2 very much. All you need is there, it is just very high paced and sometimes very subtle. But for the keen observer, all people that are able to read between the lines and (let me exaggerate a bit) all people who are able to concentrate on one single target for an hour have all they need to follow the story. 😊 When I look at the ratings on all the big portals, it seems to me that season two did not get very many mixed reviews. I think that is the for social media bubbles typical loud minority that gives a different impression. It is like one of those elections where the winner gets 90% instead of the usual 95% before and suddenly everybody sees the ship sink. It is still pretty solid. One last thing - it wasn't only Amanda Overton, Christian Linke and Alex Yee writing, they had three additional authors for the episodes 2 - 4, but I get what you mean, the writers room was considerably smaller than for season 1. 😊

As always love your reaction...😊 According to the credits the little kid is a girl and her name is Isha. The music videos in the beginning of the episode are bringing us up to date with the characters and what happened to them until we meet them again. Ep. 1 showed us Cait struggling with the loss of her mother, ep. 2 brought us up to date with Jinx. She just vanished after her attack on the council, struggles with the loss of Silco and watches the leader-less Chem Barons fight over the scraps of Silcos empire. As I said, she has no interest in leading and right now does not care about Zaun or its people. She struggles with guilt (hence the new arm for Sevika - one thing she could fix) and is in desperate need for a purpose - enter Isha.
