Ah, I think that someone has the heart of an animé warrior princess here. Yes, she knows she is important but she has no desire to see her followers dying for her whilst she hangs back. Perhaps foolish but it does suggest that the power of Angel Blue has gone to the right woman.

This issue is so cute, i now know why jump knight and angel blue have the level of trust they do have and that Emilie isn’t gonna be some damsel in distress in her origin story, because she’s the protagonist of her tale.
