Weekly update! (Patreon)

This week I’ve been working on the Blue Tent! I’ve finished almost all of Jester’s sprites they just need a few final tweaks.

As for Ticket Taker’s tent, dialogue-wise it isn’t as long as the others, but it has lots of choices and branching situations. In other words, it’s a big chunk of code with plenty of variables that’ll need to be properly tested to make sure every possible outcome works as it should!

I’m really curious to see what you’ll all do there. I’ll give you the same hint again for when you play: pay close attention to things, even the ones your eyes tend to skip over. Some things are hard to reach unless you’re observant or stubborn.

Anyway, back to the Blue Tent I’ve coded around 80% of it so far (with unfinished sprites, just placeholders for now), so there’s still plenty of art to wrap up. The remaining 20% is the tricky part. By next week, I should be able to give a date. I wanted to release it by Halloween, but considering I still need to add all the sound effects and music… well, we’ll see how far I get by next week!Oh, and by the way finding the right music for Jester’s and the Doctor’s tents has been really hard!
