When Doctor talked about his fondest memory getting their trailer, then eating dinner with his family, laughing, warm and happy… and then I suddenly get a flashback of my classmates, professor and I doing the “Last Supper” with Popeyes for the last day of class… (I’m so sorry Doctor! HAPPY FRIDAY~! ✨ Harlequin having the second most intense heats is going to be something I never ever stop thinking about oh my heavens. Also curious that Pierrot is not afraid to let mc kiss his actual lips as long as they do not look. Inch resting… TEASING ABOUT PYROTECHNICS…wait a minute. Soon? Wait…oh no…this better not be what Im thinking…Neko…NEKO Also Ilk had some very good questions :3c And were given some very interesting answers. Aside from Pierrot's ominous answer, I love the idea of Jester feeling nostalgic for the smell of orange blossom and wet grass/soil. That does sound really pleasant.

Pierrot’s last answer is interesting because I remember a prior AMA mentioning that he eats the least amount of human flesh out of the rest of the cast (if I recall correctly). I had assumed that it was because he’s the most sympathetic towards humans, but it seems it doesn’t have to do with sympathy at all.

Pierrot's last answer... huh fancy way to view the fools through. Maybe MC as an extension. No matter how cute they are, they're just pets that can later be rnjoyed for a nice family meal. How does Pierrot know all that filthy stuff he whispers, yet he doesn't know what a sadist is? He literally lives with at least 3.5 of them. (None of them is actually 0.5. The math here is very complicated.) Tbh, any time Pierrot blushes and get's all flustered I imagine how perverted he really has to be and tries to hide it. I'm onto you, you yellow fellow. Doctor's heats... is that where the egg lie comes from that Harlequin told Pierrot? Doctor just disappears for a few days, and Harlequin managed to lie that it just takes that long for the eggs to come out? I think I'm onto something. Gifts that blush when you unwrap them... So Harlequin likes make-up. Got it. Harlequin, you'd be beautiful with some false lashes and pink cheeks. :3c

It seemed crazy to me at first, but it’s the same compartmentalization done in human societies. Knowing how intelligent animals are yet eating meat. Pierrot seems to want the best of both worlds, but he’s overlooking how MC will feel about the circus being a human mill.

I like to imagine that’s another thing that fits him being ‘the doctor’ bc at some point he probably was like “I have to find a way to deal w this, to keep it under control, ofc it would benefit everyone but me foremost!”. The firery tricks reminded me of those tiktoks clowns at a horror themed show where they would slide on the ground and their ‘claws’ would send tiny sparks right before they stood up and spooke some of the guests. I have yet to see someone trying to animate harlequin or pierrot doing that! Something like that would look sick af in the game! ❤️

Actually, I’ve been reading through all the AMA’s, and I have a new theory. “Lore hint” always pops up when Pierrot talks about fishing. In another answer, he literally says “the sunset looked beautiful beneath the water” after talking about a memory of his parents teaching him how to fish. My THEORY is that he’s some kind of water/sea monster now…

I think the last question actually proves that Pierrot doesn't consider humans as pets to be kept, but as equals he can converse with. You can clearly see that he treats humans completely differently from how he treats pets:he still has compassion for those humans who became "fools", and the very fact that he could fall in love with a human shows that, at least in his perception, humans are his equals — not like animals whose lives he can control at will.

Doooon't quote me on this but I think I remember that appetite question being asked to Pierrot specifically. With a little addendum underneath by Neko implying that's Pierrot's opinion and may not be fact. He's a chef, and people who very, very much love their food gravitate to that profession. Pierrot is...highly unstable, with a lot of dualism and shadow imagery. He's heavily characterized by his restraint. So does he even *remember* how much he eats? When he finally indulges in some primal need, are there any brakes?

Finally, some time to react and write a comment! Thank you for the AMA! It really brightens up my week. Pierrot’s mother died in an “accident”…Well. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why he’s so sensitive to monster killing media. A mob. Jester would probably be more sensitive too, although I think fire is the bigger issue for him. I could imagine him being relatively “fine” with the various ways monsters are killed in media. Might find it darkly humorous. It’s funny how ignorant humans are, you know? So weak and fragile they need to brainwash themselves into thinking they can win with a single silver bullet or by making it to sunrise. Then fire comes into play and he gets real quiet. “Well, well I do enjoy surprises. Especially the kind that blush when I unwrap them.” First thought: Hot. Second thought: Scantily clad Jack in a box gift, got it Harlequin bragging about MC thinking about him for the portrait is so cute. He doesn’t realize it and he’ll say it in the most obnoxious way, but it’s cute. Like a little kid bragging that everyone’s favorite teacher likes them best after giving them the most stickers. Pierrot’s fish answer makes me think of edgy Disney fanart of Ariel eating Sebastion and Flounder lol Is that how it is Pierrot? You have a playful chase with a fish one day and gobbling them all down the next? His associations with fishing don’t really gel with how the average human thinks of it. Some animals kind of “raise” others for food, or have mutualistic or parasitic relationships, or corral them. Which is it here? Pierrot’s exact relationship to the Fools remains cloudy. On one hand, he calls them Harlequins (who he dislikes) and Jesters (who he very much admires). Prefers solo or low participation performances. Still eats them at the end of the day ala Leonardo’s The Last Supper. It leans towards indifference, with perhaps…a touch of respect towards Columbina’s feelings? That she wouldn’t approve of it, of calling them Fools and enslaving and eating them. It’s not about humans, it's about her. While Pierrot’s answer here is a tad ominous, I’m going to have faith and say MC isn’t in the animal category. While I do theorize monsters aren’t above hunting and eating other monsters, I don’t think raising one for food plays out that often. Columbina’s death traumatized them all too much to be the case. Of course, the weak get eaten by the strong…With the weak ideally being an outsider. You want that to be someone you don’t know. Monsters are more ruthless (or at least more honest about it) but they still have deep emotional bonds. Species-wise, Pierrot may be closer to Harlequin or Doctor than to a human, but the fact remains that they are all *different* species. Working together and getting along. While I do think the predation barrier is bigger between monsters to humans than monster to monster, the Circus family itself offers a glimmer of hope. My only worry with Pierrot is his emotional regulation. Restraint does not equal control. Complete suppression of desires is disastrous in humans, it’s going to be worse in monsters who seem more instinctual. Lying and pretending he isn’t dangerous isn’t going to fly. Pierrot may consciously view MC as a partner, but some of his unconscious instincts see a delicious meal. It may be possible to redirect that pressure to a “safer” direction (mating) but I doubt it’ll ever vanish completely. Can he walk that tightrope, especially for an MC who doesn’t want to be his partner?

Remeber they need to eat humans to survive so even if he feel empathy toward fools he still need to eat and also i think the fools are a representation of Colombina. They are Pink and they are called fools what does it have to do with Colombina ? Well i think some of the troupes see her as a fool for accepting the deal with the humans and expecting to be saved when she asked Harlequin for help. Im sure Pierrot dislike the way she is remebered. And seeing Colombina AMA she dosen't know any of this it seems...she dosen't know about Pierrot stalking MC,she dosen't know that Jester tell the story like her and Pierrot were in love and she most definetly don't know about the fools...
