Unfortunately, it's been a little difficult to find enough time to pick featured questions lately, so for now I'm simply going through the AMA questions in order and answering them whenever I have some free time.

I've been focusing a lot on the game and the store recently, so there hasn't been much time left over haha. Even so, I hope you're all still enjoying the AMA answers!

Ahhhhhh, when Pierrot called Harlequin "Quim" it made my heart do the sparkle emoji. I can't recall if he has called him that before in an AMA...he may have and I missed it, but either way, it is very sweet. I am also curious to learn more about how Jester was in the past. AAAAH, I DELETED MY COMMENT BY ACCIDENT T.T People height's being 1'80-1'90 it's not that uncommon, idk. I don't live in a place with much tall people but it's not that rare... (2m is strange, yeah xD) Harlequin, you've said several times you dont like sweetness, so you saying "maybe wanting something a little... sweeter" instead of "something a little... spicier" it's surprising xD Oh, no, another question that is hard to read T.T even if it's answered T.T Doctor not getting the... size joke... Thank you for new AMA and for providing the news about game updates, Neko! Really liked the confirmation that Pierrot doesn't sees MC as object or pet. Makes sense that he, a mentally damaged individual with no romantic experience would behave weirdly. (pretty sure that Neko didn't intent to write Pierrot in this way, but I really see him as person with BPD. as someone who have BPD, I sort of understand his actions and feelings. I'm not saying that he doesn't do anything wrong, but when you aren't quite in right headplace and you also don't have meds or at least info about how to help yourself and how your brain might work, it makes it much harder to snap out of unhealthy mindset... sorry for yapping, I just like to spread my bpd pierrot propaganda) Love also the info about how Pierrot saw other troupe members at beginning. Ill-tempered TT makes perfect sense for me, honestly... ngl I think that he is much more emotional than he shows to us (and probably to others as well). Really would like to see more young Jester and how behaved back then as well.

I feel like the 2015 one is more Jester's speed, judging from the wikipedia summary. Apparently a big theme is fear and paranoia, which he seems to have Thoughts on. 2022 vampire one ends way too happily, a typical "humans kill monsters" movie he wouldn't be excited about.

Rapid firing with these posts! We appreciate it, thank you. TT’s comment on them experiencing longing differently…Is it more intense for them? Something else? Is it a monster vs. human thing that’s objectively true or not? Or is he referring to the Circus’s specific circumstances…I uh, doubt many of us have eaten a friend for survival. Pierrot…those were some nice memories you had, huh? Unconsciously used Harlequin’s nickname there. I can imagine them, all huddled together, whispering to each other about what they should do if things go bad, what they think of these newcomers, if they could all truly get along. Planning for the future which always, without question, had the other in it. They really were a team. As much as I rag on Jester, I do appreciate his consistent warnings lmao It’s more out of concern for his family and his love of intimidation, but I appreciate it all the same. Gives slightly more perceptive / knowledgeable MCs an out. Sorry buddy, Pierrot’s the one you gotta talk with. He’s the one doing the chaining. I want to see more Harlequin and Doctor interactions so badly. Quim likes watching out for people in his own weird way…They seem so at ease. I would LOVE to leave little love notes and playlists for Pierrot until he noticed omg. I need to write that now. I definitely feel like he would pick up on it eventually but the room for misinterpretation is too juicy to ignore. Not to be too cheesy but it’s captivating with how amazing you are, Neko. All these creations, moments and work you put into everything is so beautifully done!! It’s like you’re crafting every piece with a signature note of your love for it tucked in. It’s kind of like finding shade on a sunny day— you know someone put so much thought and care into that space specifically for moments and enjoyment. All that is to say, thank you for your continued hard work. Please be just as loving to yourself and take frequent breaks.

Lol, as someone who has worked with Ren’Py on and off for about 7 years now, I wholeheartedly concur— the forums are a GODSEND. There is an answer to just about any question that you could possibly have. If you have an idea for a mechanic but don’t know how to execute it, someone has already found a way to code it and dumped the entire thread in the forums. That’s part of what makes Ren’Py such a great entry-level game development platform. Anyway, that aside… Thank you for all of your hard work, Neko. Remember to take breaks consistently— work is done best when your mind is sufficiently rested. (Especially when you’re handling 33 different storyline paths at once… It’s an absolute blast, for sure, but it can also be very difficult to keep track of, lol.) Best wishes! 🐉

Guys, I was thinking about this. Am I the only one who noticed a small plot hole? It's nothing groundbreaking, but I found it strange. When we let Pierrot stay at the café, he says he can't talk because of work, but when we don't let him stay, we just assume he can't talk because of work and not that he's mute or anything like that, even though he never said that to us if we follow that route.
