I haven’t been able to work as much on the art this week since Jester’s birthday is coming up! So I’ve been preparing a few things for him, but here’s a WIP of one of his sprites and some new references I had to create to help me with a few scenes.I'm finishing up one for the Doctor, too you'll probably see it next week.

JESTER MY DEAREST MOTHER PLEASE STEP ON ME Ahem. I mean these are great, amazing job! Oooh getting to see Carols full outfit, i love it! I think it is cute that the outfit is so different from the others…curious if that is on purpose, or if it’s just how most of TT’s fools dress…🤔

Anita Primrose, author

Mommy Jester looks really cute and gorgeous 🥰, boss man and carol looking good too 😊

EquiNox ツ

It's interesting how the fools have the color white as part of their main color (not counting the masks). The clowns mostly consist of black + their favourite color. Since Jester designed them, I'm starting to wonder if there is a meaning behind it since the pink tent has no white color (associated with Columbina/a monster), and knowing you this might not be a coincidence... hMMMmmm

Beastia_artis

Sunnyarts

This is so awesome neko!!! Im astouned every day on how much you acomplish! You do such a greate job!!

bibliomaniac

jester's looking great! i'm particularly interested in the ref sheets though... i love seeing boss's full tattoos but i'm also fascinated by carol wearing a collar. i can see doctor's assistant and the fools on the street are also wearing something visually similar from the front...i wonder if that's the special accessory the closest assistants get? though obviously all the ones on the street can't be the closest...i'd been thinking it was the bows, but a collar would be extra fun *v* anyway thank you, this gives me a lot to chew on! good luck with the birthday art and keep taking care!

Cheeselord101

I have a coworker named Carol so I genuinely want game Carol to survive

Sera S

Jester looks scary and intimidating ngl Ah Carol, hope we can save you (love the details of her costume)

Ez

They all look so good!!

Jellieclipse

*gets on knees* whatever Jester is thinking, YESYESYESYESYESYES! Carol's dress is so cuuuuute!!!! Nathan...Nathaniel...Day 3 is about to make me COMBUST 🥵

Franci

You are really good at outfit designing. Carol's fool custome is really endearing! I hope we can save her and our Boss's behind.

mell.

White could represent naivety. For example, if Colombina was dressed in white or had something white, this could suggest that we human beings are naive, just like her Idk....

Kotoro Chan

I like Carol's dresses. That sets her apart a bit from the other fools. And the Boss is quite masculine. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Answorn

Jester and the monsters like to talk about how they enjoy and prefer the night, so darkness is already associated with them. It's their time to rule, to be more themselves. Humans, on the other hand, are day walkers, many prefer the day, we're the dominant species so we don't need to hide, etc. Plus Jester loves pitting monsters and humans as complete opposites, although that isn't strictly true. There's the practical level too, white and black are easy to identify...Actually, it's making me think of the black-white animal eyesight myth...and how some colors can be seen by some animals and others not. But black, white, and gray are universal. Be nice if, in the end of all this, Columbina has some gray in her color scheme.

Answorn

Ah, so the collar reveals itself...Wonder if it has any purpose besides subordination. We don't know the specifics of Jester's mind control, maybe it's a on/off trigger. There's bound to be situations when they need the Fools not completely zoinked out of the minds. Or maybe it's worse and Jester's power slowly hollows them out, so they need "breaks" to last longer.

Rainlume

Neko.

Lilliana Southern

I really like Carol's design I hope not only us as the MC will be able to help save her but that we also will get to interact with her. Also I just really like our boss Nataniel he's such a good boss and his look is really cool.
