Loved this watch along! Thank you. Btw, the reason Rick felt Marathi is like hindi is coz he was hearing Hindi at that time. Some of the characters in Mumbai spoke in Hindi in the film, including Naseeruddin Shah. Am guessing he was playing a version of M F Hussain the artist who used to remain barefoot, has a series of paintings on horses and was also reviled for his nudes and asked by radicals to leave the country and all.

Absolutely loving the watchalong . Am half way through.. some dialogs are much more punchier in Marathi... for some reason, the English subtitles are not translating them fully.. but am glad its mostly visual and you dont have to depend on dialog as much.. Chaya Kadam was in Madgaon express where she was a gang leader if you remember

Did not know Om Bhutkar was in this. What a pleasant surprise! Loved the interpretation of bindi as something to tell men to focus there. The guy at the end was getting aroused and then when he saw that it was his mom, his moral compass suddenly activated😒 Human psychology is so confusing. Great movie!
