Challenge sketches- Cottage by the lake (Patreon)

Hello everyone!
Here are the sketches for this months painting challenge:) I feel that first one is more basic, and the second one feels a lot more like the challenge description, more spooky, and I tried to do something different with the tree, so that it is almost climbing the the rock next to it, and spreading the roots all around:D I already started painting - I choose the second sketch:)
