Default vs. custom brushes (Patreon)

Hi Patrons!

I'm currently making a tutorial about making brushes, and all the settings to make them exactly to your liking!
I wanted to give myself 20min time frame to paint each of these houses. The one on the left is painted with default brush in Photoshop, and the right is done with my custom brushes.

Some would argue that brushes don't really matter, which is only partially true in my opinion. Of course that most important thing is your knowledge and approach to painting. But it is definetly true that custom brushes give a more personal look to your work:)

And also some custom brushes give you the ability to produce details a lot faster, rather than working more raw with the round brush. That is why the painting on the right is more finished looking. I established the base a lot quicker, and it left me the time to polish it more.
