Today's set...

Was—and honestly still is—one of the most difficult and tedious sets I've ever worked on.

And before that sounds like a bad thing...

Let me explain. Hehe~

As many of you already know, my male "models" usually fall into one of two extremes.

They're either very fit...

Or very... not fit.

I almost never work with a body that's simply... average.

Even many of my male characters end up having softer or more feminine features because that's the style I've grown accustomed to working with.

And yes, I know it sounds a little funny to say that when [ Tadano-kun Can't Be This Cute ] literally starts with a fairly average-looking body.

But the real challenge wasn't Rimuru himself.

The challenge began when it was time to generate his partners.

Every attempt would end up leaning too far in one direction...

Either they looked too masculine...

Or too feminine.

There was almost no middle ground.

So I had to go back to the same technique I used for the Sucrose set.

Generating the same image...

Over...

And over...

And over again.

Changing tiny details each time until I finally reached the result I wanted.

And even then...

Some images simply refused to cooperate. 💀

Originally, this set was—and still is—a request.

What you're seeing today is mostly made up of leftover images from my practice sessions while figuring out how these characters should interact with one another.

Eventually they'll become part of a proper story-driven set.

But for now...

I decided to share them as a little preview~

That, and because I spent practically my entire morning wrestling with Milim's section instead...

Ran out of time...

And since I already had everything from Tensura open...

Well...

It seemed like the perfect opportunity. ✨

And there's one more thing I'd like to mention!

You all know that little habit I have of avoiding releasing too many sets featuring the same character while I'm writing a larger project for them.

I don't like making an entire week feel like it's nothing but one character. 🖤

So...

There's a very good chance that Rimuru will be returning next week with the femboy set that quite a few of you have been asking for~

I just wanted to space things out a little and let the content flow naturally instead of creating a traffic jam of the same character over and over.

And I think that's everything for today!

After spending hours editing images...

Only to open the folder and realize...

"Oh no... I accidentally made way too many similar images... and I still have so many left..."

I think I've earned a little rest before heading back to my earthly responsibilities. Hehe~
