🌙 MESSAGE OF THE DAY 🌙

💀 THE TEMPLE, THE BLACKOUT & THE GPU EMBOLISM~ 💀

I'm back With a little bit of energy recovered, a slightly calmer head, and a rather ridiculous story about yesterday. So, Mortals… grab something to drink. This one is going to be a little long. hehe

╚═══.·:💀🖤 🌟 🖤💀:·.═══╝

Mortals!

I'm back~

With at least some energy recovered! 🖤

And first of all… explanations!

I'm going to combine yesterday's update with today's message instead of making another post just to say that I finally updated the previous one. So what happened yesterday and what happened today will all be here together.

Which means…

This is probably going to be a lot of text.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

⚡ SO… WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED YESTERDAY? ⚡

You may not have noticed anything was wrong.

Not because it was something small or harmless, but simply because I already had the set fairly advanced.

And yes…

The power went out again.

But this time it was so much worse.

In the span of about four hours, the power went out four times.

Once every hour.

And each time, I had around 20–25 minutes without electricity.

I wanted to rip my hair out.

I couldn't make any progress on the set, I couldn't properly continue working, and every time I started getting back into the rhythm…

click.

Darkness.

But the second time it happened, everything went to absolute shit.

My PC had barely been turned back on when it immediately gave me a blue screen and restarted.

I got a little scared, naturally, but I tried to act normal and simply continued from where I had left off.

And that's when the real chaos started.

Normally, it takes me around 30 seconds to generate one image.

After the restart?

Nothing.

It just kept loading.

One minute.

Two.

Three.

Five.

Nothing.

I started getting more and more nervous and eventually thought:

"Well, maybe it just got stuck or something."

Possibly one of the dumbest thoughts I've ever had.

It's not a printer.

But after almost 20 minutes…

One image finally came out.

Spoiler:

It looked horrible.

I think I produced the largest cold sweat ever documented by mankind.

And then, while I was waiting for the second image to finish loading…

THE POWER WENT OUT AGAIN.

I wanted to die.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

📞 A LOVELY LITTLE PHONE CALL~ 📞

At that point, I called the power service and "very politely" let them know how wonderfully things were going.

Obviously, I didn't say anything cruel or particularly horrible.

I merely suggested that perhaps they could send someone a little more competent to deal with the problem. hehe~

I know that sounds a little mean…

But genuinely, this was one of those days where there was zero reason for any of this to be happening.

A couple of weeks ago, when I had similar problems, I understood it. I calmed down and accepted that there was nothing I could do.

There had been terrifying rain and thunderstorms.

Fine.

I can live with that.

But this time?

It was a beautiful, sunny morning.

Everything was perfectly fine.

There were no problems with the water.

No problems with the gas.

No problems with the internet.

Nothing.

There was literally no obvious reason for the electricity to be behaving like it had personally declared war on me.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

💙 RIMURU HAD TO MAKE DO~ 💙

Eventually, I had to settle for only two of the four outfits I had planned for Rimuru.

And somehow, I managed to make the set work with the roughly 100 images I uploaded.

I don't remember the exact number anymore, my brain was already halfway out of my skull.

Both of the other outfits were really cute, though…

So I genuinely hope I can bring them back soon!

I didn't want to throw them away just because the universe decided to bully me for an afternoon.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🧰 THE GREAT PC RITUAL~ 🧰

After suffering through some of the most ridiculous stress I've experienced in a while and genuinely feeling like everything had gone completely to hell…

I had to leave for my earthly duties.

That's why yesterday's post was so short. I only managed to upload it later, once I was already dealing with everything else.

I had to improvise with what little time and energy I had left…

And with an increasingly strong desire to break a chair over someone's head.

A metaphorical chair, of course. hehe~

After finally publishing yesterday's set, I decided to completely disassemble my PC.

Why?

I don't know.

I was hoping I'd notice something.

Every single component I removed went through my extremely rigorous diagnostic procedure:

“Does it smell burnt?”

And, naturally, my completely useless paranoia immediately answered:

“Yes.”

It didn't.

Probably.

But I took everything apart anyway.

I cleaned it.

I gave it some maintenance.

I prayed a little.

And then I went to sleep because I was completely exhausted and my head was about to explode.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🌅 THE MORNING AFTER~ 🌅

This morning, I put everything back together.

Turned it on…

And everything worked.

Just like that.

I answered messages.

Welcomed the new faithful.

Checked that nothing seemed strange.

Made sure everything was behaving normally.

And then came the real test.

I generated today's set.

I don't think I need to explain how that went.

I mean…

You can literally download it. hehe~

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🧪 SO… WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED? 🧪

I have absolutely no idea.

Maybe the maintenance somehow brought the machine back to life.

Maybe my GPU had a tiny little embolism and, just like me, simply needed one night of sleep.

Maybe something got weird after the power fluctuations.

Maybe nothing was actually wrong and my PC just decided to give me a heart attack for entertainment.

We'll probably never know.

And honestly?

I don't care anymore.

Everything is working again.

That's what matters.

And I couldn't be happier about it.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🌙 BACK TO THE TEMPLE~ 🌙

So yes… yesterday caused a pretty significant delay.

The set itself, today's work, and everything else that was supposed to follow have all been pushed back.

But I'll do my best to keep moving forward with the upcoming sets and, of course, finally finish the next chapter of Kirito — From Beta Tester To Beta Bitch.

There's still plenty to do.

But at least the machine is alive.

And so am I.

Mostly. hehe~

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

And I think that is finally everything for now.

Honestly, after yesterday's chaos, I feel much better today.

I probably lost considerably more hair than I would have liked…

But it could have been worse.

The Temple survived.

The machine survived.

And somehow, so did Nyxvet.

So I suppose that's a victory~

Now then!

Without anything else to add!

You need to get this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00429N192?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder_k5_1_11&amp=&crid=AOJF7B5FOTC4&sprefix=battery%2Bbac&th=1 Especially when you upgrade to your new 5080. Consistent power failure, can cause database issues that can become irreparable to a PC unless you rebuild the OS from scratch. I have this model and it is fantastic, it also cleans the power so the computer is getting a perfect sine wave of electric power. This should be enough for your pc and display or other little things.

And you're absolutely right~ I've actually already had my eyes on a UPS as well With all these recent and increasingly frequent power problems, I'm seriously considering getting one shortly after I finish putting together the new equipment. I think that's probably why this whole electricity situation has been getting on my nerves more than it probably should. As I mentioned in my post, when there's an actual reason for the outage, then... well, there's not much anyone can do about it. But lately, even the smallest inconvenience seems to end up affecting the entire day's production, and honestly... It's really starting to drive me crazy. Especially after what happened yesterday....
