🌙 MESSAGE OF THE DAY 🌙

⚠️💀 The Tattoo LoRa From Hell~ 💀⚠️

Today's photoset is... questionable.

Very questionable. Explanations ahead, Mortals. ⚠️

Mortals!

MESSAGE OF THE DAY...

I'm back...

With my head about to explode and an absolutely terrible desire to sleep until next year.

And it's because I made a terrible mistake.

I was testing a new LoRa based on a type of tag I've been asked for quite a lot: blacked / full-body tattoos.

And for those with good memories, you may remember that I made something similar a while ago. It was a much smaller tattoo, placed only on specific parts of the body.

It was small...

But it was stable.

So naturally, I thought:

"Tattoos? This should work, right?"

...Right?

Well...

Yes.

It worked.

Just without any stability or consistency whatsoever.

Visually, this thing was an absolute disaster, and you'll see exactly what I mean.

The funny part is that during the initial tests, it honestly didn't look that bad. It actually looked pretty decent, so I didn't pay too much attention to the inconsistencies.

Then I tried combining it with Sarada's LoRa.

And that's when everything went straight to hell.

Mutations.

Distortions.

Artifacts.

Weird stains.

Thousands of errors.

THOUSANDS.

At first, I thought it might have been something stupid like the loading order, so I spent a couple of hours trying to make everything work properly.

I probably should have given up then.

Because my torture had only just begun.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

When I finally managed to make it work without completely destroying the images, I realized the tattoos had become even less consistent.

Technically, I could have added more processing steps to improve the details...

But the shortest time I managed to get with those extra processes was around 1 to 1.5 minutes per image.

And that's a lot when I'm generating 60–120 images per batch.

So...

I decided to let it go.

I had already planned to make this set a little shorter because I wasn't satisfied with the results anyway.

But it was a Community Pick.

And I couldn't exactly look at someone's request and say:

"Yeah, sorry. Couldn't do it. Too bad."

So I sat down, took a deep breath, and started generating.

Failure after failure.

After failure.

After failure.

Some images were absolutely horrible.

Then, once in a blue moon...

Something decent would appear.

In the best cases, the tattoos would simply decide to migrate onto someone else's body.

In the worst cases?

I'd get something like Sarada's head, but with completely different facial expressions, a bald head, and none of the generic male characters I normally use.

Just...

Sarada.

Where there absolutely should not have been Sarada.

And maybe one image out of twenty would actually come out properly.

So when I look at the sheer industrial amount of images I generated for this photoset...

And then remember how many—so, so many—I had to delete...

It makes me feel physically ill.

And no, I didn't intentionally make this set so short.

As difficult as it may be to believe...

This was the best result I got from everything I made.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

BUT DON'T WORRY! 🖤

This LoRa is NOT being thrown into the Vault of Forgotten Experiments.

Not yet, anyway. Hehe~

I'll keep working on it once I have the new equipment.

Because as I mentioned before, with more processing power, the results were actually pretty damn decent.

Much better than this.

A thousand times better.

The problem is that my current machine simply doesn't have the power to let me run all those extra processes without turning every image into an entire life project.

Once the new machine is here, I'll be able to bring full-body tattoos at the quality they actually deserve...

Without slowly killing myself in the process.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

So once again, I sincerely apologize, Mortals.

I really didn't want to upload a photoset that is visibly below the quality I normally try to deliver.

But I spent so much time fighting with this thing just to make it work that I simply didn't have enough time left to prepare something else.

And in a little while, I have to leave for my earthly duties again...

So, honestly?

I'd rather upload these results than disappear completely.

At least you can see what came out of this little battle with the tattoo demon.

For now, I'll try to get a little rest before I have to leave.

My head desperately needs it.

And now!

Without anything else to add!

I think I’m actually cursed lol. I’m so sorry my requests cause so many issues. I’ll step back from requesting, thank you for giving it your all

Mrbrisco

I'm gonna come out and say this one and I may be alone, but I don't like full tattoos. The Queen of Spades tattoo is the only one I like because it can be subtle, it can be artistic, it can be story driven because the person getting it is submitting. But many to the point of abundance is to me a disservice to the art and characters. Writing on the other hand can make sense if done within the story and because it's not permanent, but the multiple tattoos always took more away than they've ever added. Just my two cents on that.

Konasha

You could say any changes to a character is a disservice. Tattoos are an art and used for this type of content a lot. I try to request things that others aren’t asking for to change the variety. I see things requested that I’m not a fan of but I know to that person they enjoy so I don’t tell them I hate it. I’m sorry my request didn’t sit well with you, I apologize for it. I didn’t mean to offend anyone

Mrbrisco

No offense taken, and please do continue to request what you'd like, you never know what new discoveries you may lead someone to! I like to voice my opinion on many things, it doesn't mean I'm right, it's just my opinion and maybe others share it but aren't as articulate. Like you said everything isn't always for everyone and that's ok! Please you do you, do not let my comment stop you, it wasn't meant to deter you!

Oh my~ Don't think that way, hehe... It's not that your requests are absurd or impossible. It's simply that my current equipment doesn't quite have the power to bring them to life the way I'd like~ As I mentioned, there could have been better attempts, but the creation time simply wasn't helping at all. And on top of that, I couldn't even guarantee that everything would turn out properly in the end. Once I manage to upgrade my setup, though... You can be sure that requests like these — and even considerably more complicated ones — will be a piece of cake~ So don't hesitate to bring me your ideas, Mortal. Sometimes all they need is a little more power behind them, hehe~

I'm glad to hear everything was sorted out while I was resting~ But yes, in the end, everyone has their own tastes and preferences~ That's exactly why the Community Pick exists: to bring in content that may be more enjoyable for the people who are here, while I continue focusing on the temple's main priority at the moment, which is the text-based sets~ And as long as the idea isn't something truly extreme or absurdly niche... I suppose I'm perfectly fine with it, hehe~ Personally, I don't really have anything that I'm completely opposed to. I understand that everyone can have their own ideas, preferences, and tastes, and I try my best to adapt the content toward what seems to be most appreciated by the people here~ After all, the temple belongs to all sorts of faithful souls, so I think there's room for a little variety~
