🌙 MESSAGE OF THE DAY 🌙

💀 Wait… The Weekend Is Over Already?!

More Community Picks, another battle against LoRAs, and a little progress on the new machine… emphasis on a little...

Mortals!

How is the weekend already over?! I could've sworn it was Friday… What happened?!

Anyway!

The Community Picks are back! 🖤

And something rather funny happened with the first set of this week.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🎭 Community Pick — When the LoRA Fights Back!

Originally, I wanted to make another set in the style of my improved Shinji Ikari set from a while ago. I had this idea of creating standalone chapters featuring different training sessions, each one with its own specific theme.

A pretty straightforward plan, right?

HAHAHA! No.

This set absolutely REFUSED to cooperate.

The bodysuit worked spectacularly, but that thing attached to the back kept ruining poses and scenes. No matter what I tried, it just wouldn't behave properly.

And that wasn't even the worst part!

The LoRA itself started acting strangely, too. Those awful spots came back, appearing practically everywhere. My own machine was censoring me!

So now I had to fight against the RNG to get the back attachment to behave and deal with those ridiculous spots appearing all over the place.

Eventually, I decided to change the direction of the set entirely, and this is what came out of it!

I suspect most of these problems were related to the LoRA itself. Lately, I've been using LoRAs from various pages to fulfill Community Pick requests, so that might explain some of the strange behavior.

Though, honestly, I'm not entirely sure. I'll have to keep experimenting and see what happens.

Sometimes, creating a set is less about following your original idea and more about negotiating with the machine until it agrees to produce something usable...

⚙️ A Little More ComfyUI Practice!

On a more positive note, I've been practicing a little more with ComfyUI, and I managed to get some genuinely great results!

In another set, I spent about an hour generating only five to eight images.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Five to eight images in an entire hour.

Obviously, that isn't viable for my daily sets, let alone a text-heavy set where I need to generate a large number of images while maintaining consistency throughout the story.

But the results themselves?

Absolutely wonderful.

And that's what keeps me excited about the possibilities!

I genuinely hope that once I upgrade my equipment, I'll not only be able to achieve those results consistently, but also push them even further.

Imagine being able to combine that level of quality with a workflow fast enough to produce complete sets without spending an eternity waiting for every single image…

Hehehe~ Now THAT is something worth looking forward to! 🖤

Of course, I'll still have plenty to learn and optimize after the upgrade, but at least I'm already getting a taste of what's possible.

🏦 The Bank Saga — FINALLY RESOLVED!

Now, about the PC upgrade…

The whole card issue has finally been sorted out!

And in the most comical twist imaginable, guess who I ran into at the bank?

The SAME girl who attended to me the other day.

I could only think to myself:

"Do they not have ANYONE ELSE working at this place?!"

I didn't actually complain, though. She was cheerful and energetic, almost like some kind of overly enthusiastic puppy. It was rather cute, in its own way.

And, to be fair, she was more competent than I might have initially given her credit for.

As it turned out, my suspicion was correct!

They already knew what the problem was, what had caused it, and how to fix it.

They simply couldn't process it because I had arrived outside the specific hours when they were allowed to handle that kind of issue.

So, essentially, I spent all that time worrying, making trips, and dealing with the consequences of a problem that could already have been explained and resolved if I'd been able to get there at the right time.

Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful!

And the cherry on top?

I spent considerably more time waiting in line than I did actually getting the problem fixed.

I swear, that girl spent more time reminiscing about our previous encounter as if it had happened ten years ago than she did handling my case.

At least the card issue is finally behind me!

…Which brings us to the next disaster.

💸 And Of Course, The Parts Are Gone.

I didn't place the order.

Unfortunately, by the time I was finally able to sort everything out, someone else had already claimed both the RAM and the CPU.

So, after all that trouble, I ended up losing the deals anyway.

I can't even begin to describe how frustrating that is. I spent days trying to resolve the payment issue, worrying about the stock, and hoping I'd be able to purchase everything before it disappeared.

And now I'm back to square one with those two components.

For the time being, I'll keep checking the stores and spamming F5 like my life depends on it, hoping destiny eventually takes pity on me.

Because the last thing I want is to buy everything at inflated prices, end up with missing components, and have absolutely no budget left to purchase whatever I'm still missing.

I want a complete machine, not an expensive collection of parts I can't even use!

Please... If any of you have a little spare luck lying around, send some my way. I could really use it right now.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🌙 And That's All… For Now. Probably.

Actually, no. I still have a ridiculous amount of things I want to talk about, but I need to upload this and start organizing today's Pixiv content.

I finished this set about three or four hours ago, but I haven't stopped turning everything that's been happening lately over in my head.

There's just so much to do, so many things to organize, and never quite enough time to get everything done the way I'd like.

Sometimes, I feel like I'm trying to keep ten different things moving at once while destiny keeps adding another three to the list. Hehehe~

Still, we're making progress, even if it doesn't always feel that way.

The Community Picks are moving forward, I'm learning more about ComfyUI, the bank problem is finally resolved, and I'm still working toward that new machine.

The RAM and CPU situation is frustrating, yes, but I'll keep looking until I find another deal that makes sense. I'm not going to let a couple of missing components convince me to blow the entire budget.

One way or another, we'll get there. 🖤

🖤 Before You Return to Your Mortal Duties~

Thank you for sticking around, especially during these rather chaotic days. I know I've had a lot on my plate lately, and I truly appreciate your patience while I juggle everything behind the scenes.

The Temple still has plenty in store for you, and I'm working hard to keep things moving even when my schedule, my hardware, and apparently the entire banking system seem determined to test my sanity. Hehehe~

So enjoy today's Community Pick, let me know what you think of the set, and keep those suggestions coming! I love seeing what you'd like me to explore next, even if some requests occasionally send me into battle against the most stubborn LoRAs known to mankind.

And don't forget to stop by the Temple again soon. There are more sets to come, more experiments to share, and hopefully some much happier news about the new machine in the near future!

Now then!

Without anything else to add!
