What a day...

The good news? Everything went well! And when I say well, I mean ridiculously well!

I did an amazing job this weekend~

The bad news?

EVERYTHING HURTS.

From head to toe, my entire body feels like it's been put through a meat grinder. I'm still sick, exhausted, and my legs are just a couple of steps away from deciding to sleep for the rest of the year.

🚶 A LITTLE WALK NEVER HURT ANYONE... RIGHT? 🚶

And before that sounds too dramatic, let me explain.

Apparently, public transportation in this place only runs a couple of times a day. It's perfectly possible to get pretty much anywhere by walking.

And that's all well and good...

Until you find yourself facing unpaved streets with inclines of approximately 60 degrees.

That's when everyone discovers just how terrible their physical condition really is.

I swear, some of those streets felt less like roads and more like climbing challenges designed to test whether I deserved to return home.

My legs were practically begging for mercy.

🚂 THE FORCED TOURIST EXPERIENCE~ 🚂

Also, apologies for how late this message is!

We were given the day off to do some sightseeing, and while that sounds wonderful in theory, in practice...

It's absolutely awful. Hehe~

Everything comes out of my own pocket. If I want to buy something, eat something, or do pretty much anything, I have to pay for it myself.

So, essentially, it's a business trip with an unpaid tourist excursion attached to it.

A forced vacation where absolutely nothing is covered!

At least the people I came with eventually decided to rent something...

I'm not entirely sure what to call it. It's like a little train that drives along the streets, and a girl accompanying us tells stories about the town and its history.

It was actually quite lovely!

But when you feel like you're about to regurgitate your breakfast, your soul, and possibly several of your internal organs...

Well, it doesn't exactly make for the most enjoyable sightseeing experience.

🏠 ONE LAST JOURNEY BEFORE MY CHAMBERS~ 🏠

There's still about an hour before we hit the road again, so I'm taking this opportunity to publish today's message!

And after that, I'll be disappearing once more for a little while.

But thankfully, this should be the last stretch!

I'll finally be returning to my chambers after what has probably been one of the most exhausting weekends I've had in quite some time.

I genuinely want nothing more than to get home, take a proper rest, and let my body remember what it feels like to exist without pain. Hehe~

I really wanted to get this published because, just look at the time!

I still have a journey ahead of me, and I'd rather not postpone the Temple's daily offering any further.
