Chapter 1: The End

Axel sprawled across his unmade bed, legs spread wide, eyes locked on the cracked mirror opposite. Kelly knelt between his thighs, her blonde fox-fur catching what little light the room had left, muzzle working over him with a focus he rather wished came with a bit more talent. She was trying. He’d give her that. Every time she shoved herself down his cock, her throat seized, a thick, wet gag punching out around his girth, spit leaping down her chin in a shining string that slapped against his balls.

He watched her in the glass, mouth curling in a lazy smirk, mind already wandering. Of all the things he liked about her, this was not one of them. Her lips were stretched thin and shiny around him, pink and trembling, struggling to wrap the thick, dark shaft where it rose out of his sheath. She had both paws braced on his thighs, claws pricking grey fur, trying to keep her balance as she bobbed. Charming girl, in her way — tight little body, always game, loved hanging off him at parties like a trophy. Head, though? Not her gift. He’d had better. Gods, even a couple of anonymous mouths at that campus glory hole had put in more graft, bloke or not.

The smell of him filled the room like a held breath. Sweat. Stale cologne. The heavy, earthy musk that clung to a wolf who’d not washed since yesterday’s training, soaked into the sheets, the pillows, the very plaster. Under it, her fox-scent — sharper, sweeter, a bit musky around the edges — mixed with the wet, salty reek of spit on cock. His knot was already starting to swell at the base, a fat, hot bulge she kept bumping her teeth against every time she got ambitious.

“Come on, babe,” he muttered, a low chuckle slipping out. “That the best you can do?”

She glanced up, cheeks flushed under the fur, eyes watering. A thread of drool connected her bottom lip to his cockhead when she pulled off, glistening, wobbling, then snapping. Axel eased back a fraction, tipping her chin up with two fingers, smirk faint and unkind while she caught her breath in little wet hitches. He let his gaze flick to the mirror, back to her, then round the room — the chaotic pit of a college lad who could not be arsed: heaps of kit he hadn’t picked up, posters of sports legends peeling off the walls, last night’s water bottle, crumpled protein-bar wrappers, an unwashed jockstrap hanging off the doorknob like a surrender flag. The whole place was stamped with him. You could have sniffed it out with a head cold.

Kelly went back down. Her teeth scraped him again, a bright, ugly little drag along the sensitive head that yanked him out of his haze. She kept at it, lips tight, determined, and her fangs kept catching — a nick along the ridge, a graze down the vein on the underside, another bump of enamel on the swelling knot. Each scrape set his nerves on edge. She was keen as anything, but no amount of enthusiasm was going to magic away the fact she hadn’t a clue how to handle the girth. Her tongue lapped clumsily along the underside, too light, too late, while spit poured out both corners of her muzzle and soaked the fur of his sack. The sounds were obscene and somehow still disappointing: wet gluck-gluck when she forced herself deeper, a choked gag, a cough that sprayed warm drool over his knot, then the sad little slurp as she recovered and tried again.

“Hey, babe. Why don’t you let me have a crack at that sweet fox cunt instead?” he said, grinning down at her.

She pulled off with a filthy little pop, a strand of spit still joining her tongue to his dripping cock. She looked up, apologetic. “Sorry, babe… I’m on.”

He’d already smelt it, of course. Iron and musk under her tail, faint but unmistakable to a wolf’s nose. He’d asked anyway, because hope was a stupid, horny thing.

Axel let out an exaggerated sigh and rolled his eyes. “Fucking typical.” He leaned back against the headboard, spreading his legs wider, tone gone flat. “Fine. Just finish me off with your mouth, then.”

Kelly nodded and got back to it, muzzle sinking over him with that same earnest, doomed concentration. He settled in, smirk returning as he watched her struggle. She took him as far as she could — which was not far — lips stretched into a shiny O around the thickest part of the shaft, nose buried in the dense grey fur at his groin. Every downward shove punched a gag out of her. Spit bubbled at the corners. Her throat clicked. The wet, meaty sound of it filled the little room, undercut by her muffled whimper and the slow, heavy creak of the bed. He could smell himself on her breath now, that thick, animal musk of wolf-cock and precum, and under it the fox, and under that the sour-sweet of a room that had seen too many nights like this.

As she tried to keep pace, his thoughts drifted back to the glory hole in the back of the campus library. He’d used it more than once when he was in a pinch. Didn’t much matter that it was usually lads on the other side, because fuck if they didn’t know how to suck cock. No hesitation. No teeth. No awkward little pauses to breathe and look sorry. Just that solid, greedy focus — throat opening, nose flattening to the partition, swallowing round him like they’d been born for it. And if he was really feeling it? He’d even shove into a tight arse through that hole. A hole was a hole, he thought, a grin tugging at his mouth.

Kelly’s pace quickened, pulling him back. She was drooling freely now, chin dripping, both paws wrapped round what she couldn’t fit, stroking the fat knot in clumsy little twists that were almost accidentally good. The familiar build crept up his spine. His knot swelled hard against her fingers, his balls drawing tight, heavy and slick with her spit. The smell of him spiked — that dense, salty, almost dirty musk of a wolf about to spend.

“That’s it,” he muttered, not particularly to her. “Go on. Take it.”

With a low groan he gripped the sheets. His cock kicked hard against her tongue, and he finally spilled — thick, hot pulses of spunk flooding her mouth, too much, too fast. She swallowed, throat working with an audible gulp, then another, eyes watering as it kept coming. A bead of it escaped the corner of her muzzle and ran down her chin, white against blonde fur, reeking sharply of salt and wolf. His knot throbbed in her paws, fat and shining, pumping another slow gush over her tongue. She took it, to her credit, and pulled back with a tired, satisfied look, lips swollen, a last string of spit-and-cum stretching from her mouth to his glistening cockhead before it broke and dropped onto his balls.

He gave her a quick, dismissive nod.

“Good job,” he muttered, barely glancing at her. “You can go now.”

Kelly’s smile faltered for a second. She nodded, gathered her things, and headed for the door. He didn’t bother walking her out. He just leaned back, staring at the ceiling, letting the dissatisfaction gnaw at him. The room went quiet, still thick with musk and mess, the wet echoes of her mouth settling into the sheets.

The hunger was still there. That restless, insatiable need Kelly couldn’t touch. She was hot, no argument — fiery fox-fur, proper tits, a tight little twat. But for all her enthusiasm, there was one thing she couldn’t handle: taking him down. Not the way he liked. Couldn’t get past the head without gagging, he mused, smirking to himself. Girl tries. Shame she hadn’t the faintest idea what to do with that mouth.

He exhaled, half-amused, half-frustrated, turning over his options. If he wanted a real release, he knew where to get it. No teeth. No hesitation. Just pure, unashamed focus. If he had more time he wouldn’t have minded putting his knot to work on someone who’d take it without complaint. He could use a tight hole after that, he thought, grinning. He sighed, wondering if he’d have time to swing by the library, let someone who knew what they were doing give him a proper send-off before the party. Just a quick visit. Bust a better nut in some lad’s mouth who’d treat him right. Get himself in the mood for the night ahead.

His train of thought broke with a loud bang on the door, and then Leo barged in, all laughter and easy swagger. Axel barely looked up, still stretched out on the bed, his spent cock hanging heavy, half-hard, knot still swollen and glistening with the mix of Kelly’s sloppy work and the spunk he’d just pumped out. The smell of it hit the doorway with him — wet fur, fresh cum, sex.

“Fuuuck, mate,” the lion drawled, looking from Axel’s cock to the rest of the room. “Looks like you’ve been busy this afternoon. That from Kelly, or some other bitch you’ve got swinging off that fat alpha cock?”

Axel laughed, bouncing his dick a little, a smirk spreading. “Kelly,” he confirmed. “But you know this dick’s partial to all bitches.”

Leo let out a loud laugh, shaking his head as he crossed the room, tossing a water bottle onto the desk. “Lucky bastard. Finest girl on campus spreading her legs for you whenever you fancy.” He paused, glancing back with a knowing grin.

Axel snorted, rolling his eyes as he propped himself up on one elbow. “Yeah, and it’s all well and good when she spreads those legs, but fuck if she can’t give head. Guess no girl’s perfect, right?”

There was a brief pause. Just a flicker. Then Leo shrugged, eyes fixed elsewhere. “Yeah… guess so.” He cleared his throat, shifting his gaze back to Axel. “Anyway, mate, we should start getting ready. Tonight’s going to be epic. I can feel it.”

Axel grinned, slapping a hand against the bed as he swung his legs over the side. “Too bloody right.” He stood, gave Leo a rough, one-armed hug, and made sure to smear a bit of leftover slick on the lion’s shoulder. “I know you’re number two on the field, but you’ll always be my number one, mate. See you downstairs in a bit.”

Leo laughed it off, throwing a casual salute as he backed out of the room. “Don’t keep me waiting too long. I’ve got a reputation to uphold.”

Alone again, Axel stood there a second, stretching, glancing round his disaster of a room as he started looking for something halfway decent to throw on. The floor was an obstacle course — a used condom somewhere near the foot of the bed, a crushed beer can under a pile of laundry, last night’s shirt still smelling faintly of smoke and lager. He kicked aside an old hoodie, pulled it up when he spotted one shoe underneath, dug it out with a sigh.

He’d barely found a matching shirt and managed to drag on a pair of jeans by the time Leo called from the hallway, hollering at him to get a move on. Axel shrugged, tossed a final glance at the messy space, and headed out. Tonight was going to be wild, and he was ready to own every second of it.

The muscly grey wolf strolled down the hall, hands tucked into his pockets, every step carrying that relaxed, confident swagger he’d perfected years ago. As he made his way through the corridors, heads turned. Nothing new. He was used to the looks, the nods, the way people gave him space as he moved. He could hear some of the other lads in the hallway laugh and nudge each other as he passed, one or two offering a quick “Alright, mate?” with a grin.

By the time he hit the stairwell, he spotted Leo waiting at the bottom, leaning against the wall, arms crossed, looking like he’d been counting the seconds. Axel just smirked, giving him a quick nod as he reached the last step.

“Took you long enough,” Leo laughed, giving him a playful shove as they hit the door to the street. “Need to keep you on a lead or something?”

Axel rolled his eyes. “You wish, mate,” he shot back, letting the door swing shut behind them as they stepped into the night air. The street was buzzing, the sound of other students spilling out of nearby halls, everyone gearing up for the night ahead. The cool air hit him just right, a relief after the close, hot mess of his room, and he took a deep breath, grinning as he soaked it in.

The two of them fell into an easy stride, heading toward the party house a few blocks over. It was one of those classic student places — half falling down, porch littered with empty cans, front lawn trampled by countless late nights. The bass was already spilling out onto the street as they approached, a sure sign the night was going to be as mental as he’d hoped.

“Place is packed already,” Leo remarked, eyes lighting up as they stepped onto the lawn, weaving through the crowd lingering outside.

“Good,” Axel replied, smirking as he surveyed the scene, gaze sweeping the faces, the looks aimed their way. “Wouldn’t want it any other way.”

They hit the door, squeezing past a group of girls who looked them up and down, giggling and whispering as they went inside. Axel felt the buzz of the room settle over him as they stepped into the crowded living room, the energy feeding his own. This was his element — people laughing, music blasting, everyone just a little looser, a little more willing to let go.

He grabbed a cup from the kitchen, filling it from the nearest keg with a lazy grin. Leo was already in the thick of it, greeting friends, exchanging fist bumps and inside jokes, every bit the social chameleon. Axel took a long drink, letting the cold beer slide down, and leaned back against the counter, watching the room unfold. Packed. Exactly how he liked it.

Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a couple of his teammates, nodding over. He raised his cup in a silent toast, returning the nod with a smirk as they went back to their own conversations, and he polished off the drink.

Leo popped up beside him with a fresh cup, laughing as he handed it over. “Here you go, mate. Can’t have you standing round empty-handed.”

Axel grinned, clinking his cup against Leo’s. “You’re a legend. Always got my back.”

“Hey, it’s what I’m here for.” Leo laughed, nudging him lightly as they both took long drinks, blending into the party’s noise.

Axel took a few gulps, letting the beer go down, but after a minute a strange heaviness started creeping in around the edges of his vision. At first he thought it was just the drink hitting him hard, but the sensation stuck, a weird haze clouding his thoughts. He blinked, trying to clear it, rubbing his forehead as the sounds around him blurred.

Leo noticed at once, brow knitting. “Whoa. You alright, mate?” he asked, leaning in to steady Axel with a hand on his shoulder. His face was tight with worry, nothing in it but genuine concern.

“Yeah… yeah, I’m alright. Just feeling a bit… off,” Axel muttered, chuckling weakly. The feeling wouldn’t lift. He swayed a little, the edges of his vision softening.

“You don’t look alright. Let’s get you outside. You look like you could use some air,” Leo said, tone firm, worry plain. He wrapped an arm round Axel’s shoulders and steered him carefully through the crowded room toward the back door, all the laughter and music fading behind them as they stepped out into the cool night.

They made their way into the alley behind the house. Axel leaned against the wall, closing his eyes as the chill hit him, grounding him just a little. Leo stood close, watching him. “You want me to call someone? Seriously, mate, this doesn’t look right.”

Axel shook his head, letting out a shaky laugh. “Nah, I’m fine. Just… feels weird. Maybe I’m just—” He stumbled, pressing a hand to his forehead, the fog thickening.

Leo stepped closer, face taut. “You’ve never been hit this hard before. This isn’t normal.”

Axel nodded, still trying to shake it off, feeling Leo’s steady presence beside him. “I don’t know… it’s just…” His voice trailed off. His legs wobbled.

“Easy. Just… sit down,” Leo said, his voice barely steady as he helped Axel lean back against the wall. “I’m going to get help, alright? You’re going to be fine. Just hang on.”

Axel tried to laugh it off, managing a weak nod even as his vision swam. He could barely hold onto the sound of Leo’s voice, panic creeping into it. “You’re good, mate. Just… stay put.”

Before he could respond, Axel felt his legs go heavy, his head tilting back against the cold brick. He heard Leo’s footsteps start to fade, fast and frantic, echoing down the alley as darkness crept in. The last thing he caught was the thud of Leo’s running steps, the night closing in, until everything faded into silence.

The world around Axel faded in and out, the cool bite of the alley’s night air cutting against his skin, grounding him in flickers. His head was heavy, thoughts drifting as his body slumped against the cold, rough brick. The echo of Leo’s frantic footsteps had long since gone, leaving only the distant hum of the party and the dark emptiness around him.

He barely registered the sudden footsteps, the sharp snap of gravel underfoot, before rough hands grabbed him. He struggled, limbs leaden, voice barely a groan, but the hands didn’t relent. They shoved him hard, slamming him back against the wall, and pain shot through him, white-hot, momentarily sharpening the haze.

The world spun as he was dragged down, his body crashing to the ground, and then came the first strike — a sharp, brutal blow that left him gasping. Another followed, harder, merciless. He barely felt the damp chill of the alley floor as the assault went on, each blow turning his senses to static, pain bleeding into darkness. His instincts screamed at him to fight, but his body betrayed him, heavy and useless as he was battered, breaths ragged.

Then came a new pain, sharper and colder than anything he’d felt. His attacker plunged something into his belly, the blade sliding deep just below his ribs on the left side. A fresh, burning agony radiated from the wound, searing through him as he felt the knife twist, his muscles clenching instinctively round the intrusion. His vision blurred. His breath hitched, choking on the raw, visceral pain.

The blade was yanked out, and he felt warmth spreading over his skin as blood pooled beneath him, his strength draining with each pulse. His hands fluttered weakly toward the wound, trying to stem the flow. Useless. He was bleeding out, vision darkening as shock took over, body going numb with pain.

Time blurred. He was bruised, his sight clouded with shadows and blood, a terrible cold seeping into his bones. He could feel it — the life draining from him, strength slipping with each laboured breath, each pulse of agony. He was fading, consciousness sliding into the black as his senses dulled, and a thick, consuming fear gripped him. He didn’t want to die. Not here. Not like this.

Then, from somewhere beyond the shadows, he heard it — a voice. Deep, dark, ancient, reverberating through him like a tremor in the air.

“Do you wish to live?”

Axel’s breath hitched, his heart pounding weakly against his chest. The voice was cold, unyielding, offering no comfort. Only a question, piercing the darkness encroaching on his mind.

“Or would you rather pass into the unknown?”

His mind screamed at him to speak, to answer, though his voice was barely a whisper. “I… I don’t want to die.” The words slipped out, raw and desperate, a plea from the depths of his fading consciousness.

The voice lingered, wrapping round him, a heavy, foreboding presence. “To live… there is a price. You will be bound to the mortal world, forever tethered to a hunger that will never leave you. A hunger that will consume every fibre of your being.”

Axel’s body trembled, fear coursing through him, but the thought of disappearing into the abyss, of losing everything he was, drove him to a single choice. “Anything… I’ll pay it. Just… let me live.”

A low, echoing laugh resonated through the darkness, chilling him to his core. “So be it,” the voice intoned, a cruel satisfaction laced through the words. “From this night forward, you shall walk in shadows, bound by desire… and a thirst that can never be fully quenched.”

And with those final words, darkness overtook him, drowning him as his consciousness slipped away.
