I'll be on Discord MONDAY at 8PM Eastern Time, writing (or trying to) script #457.

Can you imagine that I'm slowly moving toward #500? I never imagined I'd still be doing this when I started this comic in 2010...

--Jaycee

NOTE: this was originally intended to happen on Sunday night, but due to some family obligations, I have to reschedule to Monday--same Bat time, same Bat channel.

None of us imagined it either! We thought you would get a writer in! 😂🤣 I’m being cruel! Congratulations Jaycee! May there be another 500!... About that writer vacancy though...

LOL! Some day, maybe I can afford an ACTUAL writer, yeah. In the meantime, you get me. I did try another writer a long time ago, and while the result in itself was funny, it was a different kind of humor that I'm not sure fitted the BF brand. But maybe it'll happen, who knows...

No! In all seriousness it’s your writing that makes it... where would we be without that quirky turn of phrase! It just wouldn’t be BF!

Ha ha. Well, I appreciate the kind words, but I'm under no delusion that I'm writing great American literature (and seeing as I'm Canadian, that should surprise no one). Still, it's nice to hear that my modest scribblings have an appreciative audience. :)

I think it’s absolutely axiomatic. My stuff wouldn’t work without my scripts... your characters are alive because of your writing skills.
