This is the FIRST SCRIPT of the official reboot. I don't know if I'll write every script with that level of detail, but I wanted to start on a strong note and feel confident about that first page, so I spent a bit more time on it than usual. You'll find the straightforward script in PDF form along with a mock layout I did before writing so I could see how it felt on the page. I didn't bother identifying what blob is what character (since it was clear in my head), but you can probably figure it out from the script or even just the dialogues.

Hope you enjoy this first taste of the new version of BF.

I like it. So it looks like the comic is a reboot going back to the very beginning, with Heather and Autumn not yet having met and Heather not yet having been made into a rather nicer person by her subsequent trials and tribulations.

That is correct. I guess I never specified that, but that was the intent. Some stories will repeat (though told differently), some will be completely new.

Are you continuing with the numbering from before the reboot? Would it not be easier to start at 1 again?

I've been thinking about that. I suppose it would make sense to restart the numbers as well, but it also means I kind of lose count of the total number of comics I've produced in total. (Well, I don't completely lose it, but I have to do more math every time I want to find out.) I think what I'll do is start a new numbering system in terms of presentation (Chapter 1 page 1, page 2, page 3, etc.), but keep naming the image files using the old nomenclature (479, 480, etc.). I think that might give us the best of both worlds.
