Logbook #10 (Patreon)

These past few months have been intense. Beautiful, tiring, overwhelming. Giving final form to Djinn's Pirate Deck and preparing the Kickstarter prelaunch campaign has completely absorbed me: there have been moments of pure enthusiasm, when everything finally seemed to be coming together... and others of profound anxiety, the kind that keeps you awake while your brain continues to race even in the middle of the night.

But through it all, I've never felt alone. The friends who are by my side, your support, the messages full of love and encouragement I receive from you... have made the hardships so much lighter ❤️

Djinn's Pirate Deck on Kickstarter

In recent months, I've also begun introducing you to the four Queens of the Djinn's Pirate Deck, and I've finally been able to show you something I care deeply about: the fact that I'll be joining the project myself. Not just as a creator, but also as a character, with the Plug Suit and a comic book story included in the book. It's a lot of fun for me, and sharing it with you is truly exciting.

On Patreon, meanwhile, the April and May YCHs have been a bit of creative chaos—in the best possible sense. OCs, fanart, naughty requests, and increasingly imaginative ideas: seeing how much enthusiasm you put into playing with me continues to be one of the most fun things of the month.

The collaboration with JC Comics also continues to be incredibly exciting. In addition to a new cover for Higher Education, I also had the pleasure of working on the cover for the new Ace series. Every project is an opportunity to experiment, have fun, and push my narrative and illustrative side even further. And I want to quietly whisper to you that there will be a little surprise in my Kickstarter... but I didn't tell you!

And then the God of Fortune... who this time struck straight to the heart. Drawing Xena was incredibly fun: powerful, sexy, ironic—practically impossible to resist. And receiving the request to draw Solaine the Fiammeggiante was incredibly moving. Not only because I'm always flattered by how much you love her, but because this illustration has become, in a way, the campaign's manifesto of resistance.

Now I really feel like something is moving. Djinn's Pirate Deck is almost ready to set sail, and knowing you're on board makes it all the more special.

Thank you for the warmth you bring me every day.Stay close: the journey is about to truly begin.
