Devlog: New Animations/Inner Sanctum/Transitions (Patreon)

Hello again crew, so we've had a productive week overall with a bunch of new areas in the works. Some new additions (Ignore the non updated exterior):

-New animations for Volley's run and walk by Rigman and Matt 

-Transitions now work between the overworld and interior areas (All rooms are connected)

-Work has begun on some minigame content and writers are working full steam on some developing quest lines.

Some Spoilers Ahead:

Some updates on a new area we've been working on.  This one is known as the inner sanctum. This pertains to a core quest that will happen in the Emerald Coast chapter regarding a long defunct military research facility once operated by Akeetians. This will come as a surprise to many players as a proper dungeon situated beneath the sunny Emerald Coast.

Compared to the earlier chapter where you mainly control Volley, this chapter will have you take control of Vlad to switch things up. It'll allow you to see things from different character perspectives.  

We had a job posting about a few weeks back regarding a new plate artist, and Ashley is hard at work on this new zone that lies in the deepest depths of Emerald Coast. What's cool is that we'll alternate between 3D exploration/combat zones and traditional exploration using this hand painted look.

A new character that's emerged from this is Professor Pike, who we were working on/discussing in stream a week or two back. One of the surviving researchers who was involved in the 'old guard' that preceded Queen Kyu- He's been in suspended animation for some time following communication being cut off with his homeworld. Work has begun on his 3D model as he'll be a key character in this area.

Acting as an automated security force to protect the research facility, the cat security bots are all completed in 3D form as well, so we're moving on to prototyping that shortly once we get these bad boys rigged up.
