This time last year, I couldn't have imagined I'd once again be launching a new publication. I'd long assumed that Polygon would be my last "start-up." Creating things from the ground up is exhausting, terrifying, and takes years to reach anything resembling stability. And I'm not the same person I was when we launched Polygon. I'm older and responsible to my family. Risk means something different when your kid's health insurance is on the line.

Then again, I hadn't considered a different approach to making my own thing. Something small. Something personal. Something funded by individuals like you, and not millions of page views and display ads.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Post Games is the best job I've ever had. And this holiday, I am so thankful to you for making it possible.

Now here's where I do the annoying thing and ask for a little more help. Because I'm still getting this plane off the ground. If you have a moment, please consider leaving a review on Apple or recommending the show to a friend. These small acts are life-changing for creators.

Thank you! You're the best! Have a wonderful holiday! Now go give someone you love a big ol' hug!

Hell yeah, Chris! Thankful for Post Games and seeing you grow and succeed. Positivity and community are what we need in this era of clickbait journalism. Excited to see where the new year takes the show! And I (sadly) can’t make the MK screening but I’d definitely overpay for quality merch shipped 😂
