Holy shit nothing could have prepared me for that last one

Madeline Stoker

I am taking this opportunity to recommend a book that I am enjoying right now called “Recipe for a Perfect Wife” by Karma Brown. Bonus, it comes with actual recipes aside from the murder!

Tl;dr a lot of people just don't get past an 8th grade reading level for a variety of reasons and are gonna make it everyone else's problem (for a variety of reasons). I know for me personally it's because I couldn't understand why I couldn't read a certain level of books anymore. Are they boring? (Nope) is the text too dense for my out of practice brain? (no... but kinda) is it my learning disability that just gets worse and morphs over time without treatment? (HAHAHA SHIT) and the thing is, when you Don't Know or Don't WANT to know that last one, and you've been told for a thousands years you should be too smart for the second one, it's easy to decide that actually this is a Choice, you know? And then you double down for silly reasons that all sum up to insecurity.
