Witches are Uranium

you're tired of paying attention but are you going to stop? also I feel like I need to share that I just recently found out that my work friend is a proper Gaylor who doesn't even listen to her music and I didn't know that was a subsection of Gaylors. just gay people who don't even listen to her music but are fully conspiracist about her being gay I'm fascinated by and terrified of him

that's a good question, and an incisive one. I don't know if it's possible to totally stop paying attention consider the chokehold Taylor has on popular culture, and it's doubly hard in my case since I've made my investment in her well-known enough that my inbox explodes every time there's a major development in the life and times of Taylor Swift. but I do think a lot of the joy has been steadily bleeding out of it as I become more and more exhausted by the sheer vacuousness of it all. the Time profile was sort of the final straw in ripping that bandaid off, and in trying to use this essay to figure exactly what I disliked about it I think I dug up a lot of other deep-running dissatisfaction with Taylor as a whole. so... yes, still paying attention, but differently, I think? I feel very jaded. also good LORD @ your coworker. what a way to live, the world sure is full of kinds of people, etc
