Hehehe. (I hope not.)

Anyways, today I run through this check list and figure out if I've been taking care of myself. I hope you guys have at least a couple checked off. Don't disappoint me! :)

right on time fellow tea lover. pepermint tea is my fav.

SenkaiTini

Lol first comment here but personally I shower every other day UNLESS I have to go into work or out to the store for something, mainly because I don't want to be smelly around others. Other than that every other day, enough to be clean but not often enough to disrupt my day.

SkittyKat

Hello first timer!! And yes! That'd be my answer too. Props for good hygiene :)

Crunklydunks

Wait, Skitty-okan is discriminating based on our odor? This is worse than the tough love episode! Big stinky sadness!

A whole three things, that's so many more than just one D: Kidding lol. I've been working on fixing my back so feeling better. I ate a meal yesterday. Water uhh, yesterday, I mostly drink iced tea. Not so much on phone but at my computer, too much. Shower everyday since I don't have problems with dry skin and it feels nice to be clean. Mostly work on my mind lately, a lot to do. Not tired but I slept in, should go to be soon anyway so I don't make it worse. Don't want to ramble on about the other things too much but the list is good, I'm with you on the agnostic bit too. Have a good night and sleep well.

Nathesium

Showering every day here, unless it's been a particularly stressful day, then showering gets pushed away in favor of a bath :3

ReluctantlySane

How am I feeling?: Better now that my heart isn't being squeezed into oblivion, (second covid jab reaction). When did I last eat a whole meal: yesterday, but I got a slow cooked stew going so, I'll be eating one in the next 4 hours. When did you last drink water: Beer is like water..right? How long have I spent on my phone?: I don't do social media that much, friends literately made my facebook account because I did not care for it, so i just use it for youtube and music. When did I last breath deeply:....just then. When did I last talk to someone about my feelings: Yesterday, i catch up with an old friend from school every weekend for coffee and we shoot the shiz about life and things..it helps. peeps it does help please do it, I know its easy to blow it off because you want to do something else, but you'll feel better after. When did I last go out side: Today to get ingredients for the stew, you ever be walking in a shopping center, trying to predict peoples moves so you can just carry on with your day and some one randomly just decides to 270 with a shopping cart because they suddenly decided they needed canned soup? What can I celebrate today: ain't dead yet..wait what if.. When did I last take a shower: Today before I went shopping, still kinda stinky tho.. What is taking up most of my headspace: game on steam my younger bro suggested to me, it's a bit of a rogue, card based game, I'm having fun with it so far.:D Am I tired: little bit, probably could do with setting a bed alarm...and sticking to it. What can I do that will bring me joy:.dude the smell of this stew is permeating this house, that's joy....FERMENTING. when did I do something kind for someone else: well the stew I'm making is for my parents as well, also attended a 1'st birthday for a mates daughter yesterday and stopping their chihuahua from nipping all the ankles is probably a plus. What promise of god do I need to mediate on today: Yeah, also pretty agnostic, I was raised catholic but luckily my parents were like, "get to 13 and you can do whatever you like", so there was no great pressure there. Look, I think the main tenants of any religion follow the same basic rules...don't be a dick, ok? apart from that doing pretty good, hope your're feeling better skitty, :)

2026-09-05 09:00 One of the benefits(?) of being old with long hair, I can't go more than two days anymore without washing it or it turns into a mess. So that forces me to shower whether I can be bothered to or not ^_^ I am a good boy and drink water 99% of the time. Only a glass of Raspberry Pepsi on Friday & Saturday nights to celebrate the weekend ;) Haven't been outside all weekend, but it's been raining the whole time. I get reverse SAD lol, summer is coming up here which is always a bad time of year for me. Bring back the winter please.

I usually do pretty well with these checklists in the water/food and hygiene department. I really can't go to sleep without taking a shower before, so is something that is daily/automatical for me. And food has become a sort of routine too, so that always have checks in good places. I guess the problems appears when we start talking about feelings and thinks like that. Sometimes I really don't know what to answer in those questions :P And well, the go outside part now is covered because I need to go to work, but the weekend has been totally hermit-mode for me, as usual XD I was curious about the phone thing and it says that I've been 48 minutes in my phone today, and is still pretty early morning here XD Discord and Instagram are the ones to blame. By the way, I really read the last question as "What promise of Zod do I need to meditate on today?" I was really confused about why the general Zod was mentioned here :S Apatheist here, so that question is free for me :P Thank you for the link to the full collab audio. It was really nice. I hope your weekend is going pretty well. Have a nice start of the week. Take care.

Neko Winters =^,^=

I'm not stinky =^,^= I spent 2 hours in the shower having existential dread about all the things I've not achieved in life I really want to still and disliking how tall I am and boiling myself half to death cause I got covered in ALOT of blood the other night. Also I still like night time activities too, but I've been working 16 hour shifts and I catch myself in places like Walmart just hating crowds of people like "Thanos might have been right" I just wanna be a fluffy giant cat and cuddle up in bed... but I will say my Corgi child has been doing her bestest to keep me smiling and make sure I get to bed all cozy and comfy, I've been getting super good sleeps and naps and she's been great waking me up gently with wet nose boops hehe =^,^= You help me sleep and she keeps me warm and wakes me up I have the cutest sleep assistants!!...I'm glad you're looking after yourself Skitty! Thank you for all you do for us :3 *sends a super duper mega fluffy extra deluxe hug your way*

SkittyKat

I can't remember the last time I've had iced tea. A bit too sweet.

SkittyKat

Bath after a long day is bliss. 🛀

SkittyKat

Ooo, thank you for the reply. It was fun reading. And I hope that stew was good :) It's so cool you have a friend to catch up with every weekend. I wish I got to see my girl friends more often.

SkittyKat

Reverse SADs, huh. Summers too hot?

SkittyKat

Oooh, the by the time you notice your smell thing is a good point. I'ma try and remember that one. And thanks Teddy :)

Exile

In regards to not going out much (as I'm sure most of us are guilty of lol), vitamin D deficiency is a thing that happens. Taking a supplement has helped me with my energy levels and general wellbeing. It's definitely something worth trying.

I'm glad you're mostly taking care of yourself. And you know your weakness :) That's a start!

SkittyKat

Lurker!!! *hugs* welcome :) *patpat*

SkittyKat

I can't imagine a 16h shift. Especially with your job. *hugs* You deserve all the snugs from pupperino. And I'll do my best to assist :)

Jonathan

hehe, no one's ever accused where I live of being too hot ^_^ Having lots of people around gets me down (long story lol). At least when I sit on the beach during winter there's no one else around. Hermit Power FTW ^_^

Giraffes

Honestly I’ve been having a lot of trouble sleeping for more than a few hours these last weeks, and everything’s been too intense emotionally. Kind of very unwell at times, but it’s ok. I did miss a few important things feeling kind of too depressed, but am still doing most things in this, though^ Though isolating a bit much otherwise and feeling too vulnerable for a lot. But I’d say I’m doing pretty well though, so no worries or anything.

Ehren

Talking about your feelings is a two way street. I lost a friend once because I talked about my feelings too much, I didn't even know it was bothering her, she should have said something sooner, but one day one of her friends delivered a message in her place to tell me that she would never speak to me again. Just like that it was over. That was pretty painful for me. I guess it taught me, for the sake of other people's feelings... I don't want to talk about my emotional problems, it doesn't make me feel better to bring someone else down, especially since everyone is bound to be dealing with their own issues anyway. I do feel like someone specifically bringing up the topic of feelings is an exception to talk about at least some feelings though. I guess the best advice I can give to someone who absolutely needs to vent about their feelings to someone is to make sure the person you are talking to understands that you don't expect them to have the answers to your problems, but that you just want to talk about it. Also, don't make it, like, the only think you ever talk about. GAH, I was so stupid and selfish.

Hedron Master

Given that it's SAD season for me, I think I've done about 4 of the things on that list in the last week or so. Joy, celebration, and talking about my feelings are off the table until March.

ReluctantlySane

Stew was excellent, thankyou, i'd link the recipe but I'm new to the whole patron thing so I don't wanna over step boundaries. I'm lucky in the fact that covid hasn't hit my area as much as the rest of the world, we can still go out and mingle as everything is still open, I hope things get better and you can start seeing your friends more often, :D

Kino

1+2) Mentally I feel like I’ve gotten more mature this year. I’m no longer as avoidant of forming emotional bonds and close relationships as I used to be. I still have a bit more to improve in that area but at least I’ve made it this far. I feel like you and the community helped me grow for the better. Physically, I got pretty sick in my stomach and throat last week or so. I’ve had to take some antibiotics and other medicine, but other than that I’ve been doing fairly okay I just have to eat more while I recover. 3) I’ve been drinking water, and I kicked the bucket on soda for the last month and a half. 4) I don’t usually keep track, but I spend quite a bit of time on the phone at night when I can’t stay asleep. 5) I haven’t done that in a while, so I did that now. ^_^ 6) Around a week ago. For the most part, a close friend and I have been mutually checking in and helping each other. 7) A couple days ago I went to the nice part of the city, visited a plant shop and a record store that I really love and feel at home in! 8) I’m not dead. I embrace the fact that I will never be perfect but I still choose to improve and move on. 9) Mainly music, finances, politics, and people. 10) Always a little sleepy, even with plenty of rest, but that’s how it’s always been for the most part. 11) I shower every day, no exceptions. I must be clean. 12) I could listen to lofi. It brings me sense comfort. 13) I helped someone from out of state with directions and recommended some nice places to visit. 14) Promise of god… No matter how dark of a place you might be, there’s always hope. Have faith in yourself and your beliefs.

Kino

Thank you Skitty, you’re always a treat to listen to

Necturn

I passed almost all of the checks, but I just kinda feel poo rn. I'm tired. Didnt wanna wake up for work. Getting over the sniffles. I'll probably be better by lunch time

Jared Chinchello

1.)Physically: My back hurts as usual. Mentally: Fairly stressed about work stuff with some happy and sad thrown in there. 2.)I guess it's been about a week or two since I ate a whole meal. Usually I eat a sandwich or two per day on my first break and my lunch break. 3.)2-3 days ago. I have a large water bottle that I toss in the freezer so I can have Ice cold water at work. 4.)Its about 10:50 and I woke up about 2 hours ago so, about 2 hours. 5.)Outside of right now, about a week I guess. 6.)Easily a year or more, I don't really talk about feelings with my family. 7.)Yesterday, I went to tractor supply and hit a pawn shop on the way home. I rarely see the sun anymore though due to me spending all night at work. The only sun I get is on my way home. 8.)I have a well paying job and I have friends and family. 9.)Things that I have no control over at a gov't level that can screw with the things I love and various other stressful things in life. 10.)I'm fairly tired, not exausted but I could sleep. 11.)I shower regularly and take a hot bath every so often if my muscles are unbelievably sore. 12.)Go to the range with a buddy or two, set off some fireworks, play some video games, watch educational stuff on YouTube. 13.)This past Friday, I took a friend to the hospital so she could get checked out and return to work. 14.)I'm a Protestant (maybe not the best one but im workin on it) and I don't know what it means by the promises of God either. Don't know if I passed or failed. However I hope everyone's mental health situation Improves.

barone1981

SkittyKat

Before you can be kind to others, remember to be kind to yourself :) So pat yourself on the back for the little things you achieve.

SkittyKat

That is a hard lesson. And you're right, we have to be mindful of how much we vent to friends. Each person is different. I'm sorry things didn't work out with that particular friend. Take it as an opportunity for growth, and I hope you won't be too hard on yourself.

SkittyKat

At least you're not stinky :3 But I hope you're able to find some joy this winter season. Don't make me bonk it into you!

SkittyKat

Really proud of you for that first point :D And it's always nice seeing you around in the server. *patpat* :senkoears: I hope your tummy feels better soon.

SkittyKat

I hope you're feeling better today. Maybe tea and some rest? *hugs*
