Did you know you can get a heavy duty wrecking bar or crow bar for just $9.98?
When I went into our least favourite giant chain hardware store to pick one up for this shoot, I was wracking my brain for a legitimate use for such a tool. Suddenly conscious of 'Zionism is Fascism' shirt I was wearing as I was approached the self serve and wondering I might respond if anyone asked me why I was buying a small black crowbar or if they'd notice my extra belongings in my pockets.
This was the first time shooting with Caitastrophe after months, if not years of occasionally messaging each other to try line something up. Cait was amazing to work with as conversation jumped around and we tried to capture this lightly horror-erotic coded shoot.
I'll never bore of shooting in this forest and dare I say these are the prettiest photos of someone posing with a crowbar ever taken.
