The best thing about early social media, pre whatever the last few years has been anyway, was connecting with new people from across the globe, especially when they happened to be passing through or had just moved nearby.

Laura was one of those people, we worked together a few times when they were living on the coast, mostly at sunrise down at the beach. I'm not sure where they are now though.
