Ive just noticed that Subaru when Emilia died in first death said the same thing that he said to Satella in s2 that he will save her Btw tears that Subaru had after seeing memories of amnesiabaru wasnt his but actually amnesiabaru tears that was meant to show the fact that amnesiabaru didnt die and now is merged with him Btw Aldebaran is the star that is "following" star the star that follows pleiadas (Subaru) constellation The Reid vs Julius fight was animated by same person that animated Garfiel fight in season 3 Btw i love the Julius development here, he gave up and moved on from his old name and achievements even if it was the most important thing for him and managed to start anew, and getting his first achievement as new "Julius" and Reid acknowledged him even if he wasnt old "Julius", Reid symbolizing the dragon and Julius knight... Knight slaying Dragon is the biggest achievement knight can get, Julius getting his new name out there as knight. The "Good Loser" because he "lost" but the results were "good" so its "Good Loser" Volcanica VA is Jotaro btw, notice that each trial was dedicated by one great hero first trial - Flugel, Second Trial - Reid, Third Trial - Volcanica ~ all three great heroes what it might symbolize (thats my theory) is that beating all trials were made to find person who is able to kill Satella

Episode 16 was really emotional. That Rem "return" episode didn't hit me as hard as it did for some other people. I get it. People have been waiting like 10 years to see Rem again, but she was only there for like 3 minutes, and she's still not really back. I'm sure part of it is also because I only watched all of Re:Zero for the first time like three weeks ago. If I had been watching it as the seasons came out and had to wait all those years for this moment, I'm sure it would have hit me much harder too. If she actually woke up and everyone remembered her, I would absolutely cry. But Subaru talking to Subaru, and his whole return, got me emotional as fuck. That part really hit me. I've also seen a really good comment explaining Subaru's amnesia and why Rui split into two. It actually helped me understand what was going on because I was kinda lost too. So I'm gonna paste it here in case you want to read it as well: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Many important infos were cut about Rui Arneb's plan and the truth behind the amnesia, here's a summary: When he first tried to read Reid's book and arrived in the Corridor of Memories, Rui Arneb met him and tried to eat his memories and his name. She indeed received the memories she ate from him, and discovered Return by Death. But for an unknown reason, Subaru did not forget anything and did not lose his name. That's when Rui had an idea: she split her witch factor in two, creating a clone and inserting this cloned factor inside Subaru. This will serve two purposes: Acting as a way to "block" Subaru memories, causing the amnesia ; "Living" as him, literally, from his point of view. It is also 99% sure that she was the one possessing him. When Subaru was done reading his book of deaths, he saw the book version of himself, the one before amnesia. That Subaru appeared not because he was "stuck" in the Corridor of Memories, but for a reason similar to why Subaru saw Meili after reading her book. After their talk, the Rui Arneb that was inside Subaru got out, effectively freeing his memories for good, and of course, she was traumatized by what she endured. After Subaru leaves, the two Rui Arneb, the one that was in Subaru's body and the one that stayed in the corridor got into an argument. And their fate is now unknown. Each Gluttony sibling represents an aspect of Gluttony. Bizarre Eating for Roy, Gourmet for Rye, and Rui is Satiety. She eats in order to find a new life, a life she could live instead of the eaten host. That's why she was fascinated by Return by Death, it was the perfect life for her, a life where you can't die. Of course this is only a summary."

(btw i am anime only as well, just theorizing) I was thinking maybe if Al has rbd or something like that, maybe ep 16 breaktime actually happens before ep 15, since he s poisoned in ep 16 and also has a cut, but in ep 15 he doesnt have that cut, so I interpreted that as him learning that he d get hurt and avoiding it, if that makes sense.

in the book series, when Subaru returns and amnesia Subaru vanishes, the amnesia one saids “Looks like my summer vacation is over”, bro this hurts me so much but unfortunately they didn’t add this into the anime 😭

Best anime OAT! Thank you for your reactions! Btw I dont think that you noticed that in the second breaktime Shaula said that Satella is her enemy and her rival for her master love, but she is talking about Flugel not Subaru, very interesting .....

what an amazing episodes i should say, and it’s really sad how bad they did to my boy Volcanica😔, like the difference between the anime and the novel is huge ngl, but it’s ok , amazing reaction as always, and i really liked how quickly you figured out what Rui did by splitting her self into two figures, going to the next ep which definitely gonna be another peak fight.
