Guys, with Re:ZERO and AOT close to the end, I'll start 3 new shows! (My original idea was to do 4 shows on Patreon from the beginning.)

I thought of 3 categories that would be cool for now, and I need y'all to give me recommendations for each of them!! I'll also include my main picks (the shows I wanna watch), but y'all will choose.

1 - Action Shounen

I’ll recommend two for non fight shows 1. Frieren- My personal #1 pick. chill fantasy show and character driven story, has some fights but is not the main point. Beautiful show with amazing visuals 2. Rascal does not dream series- romance and mystery with character driven stories that I find really compelling. For isekai, you could always do konosuba, but it is a comedy and parody of the genre. I feel like you’d enjoy it more after watching some other isekai first.

If u want a shonen action, then believe it or not but my hero academia is actually peak. You should check out a romance anime if u find time for it. Some of my favorites are: Nana, kaguya sama love is war and bunny girl senpai

Plastic Memories is very short, but it does great in the time it has. Rascal Does Not Dream is significantly longer, having two seasons and three movies, with another movie coming iirc. It's far more drama-heavy than Plastic Memories, since Plastic Memories is a lot more cutesy, while Rascal Does Not Dream is more...psychological, I suppose? Definitely do not wanna spoil it at all.

Katanagatari , ACTION Category. I think you would appreciate this anime for the characters and the overall story it's short and pretty good. Spice and Wolf, NON FIGHT ANIME, is also a chill one with a decent plotline and characters you may enjoy

For the Isekai, I'd definitely say Mushoku Tensei too it's peak For the Action Shounen Demon Slayer is really good but you should also check out My Hero Academia For a non-fighting show, you should definitely check out Link Click. There are some occasional fight scenes which are really good and have peak choreography and animation, but the main story aint only about fighting so it should be good I assume

It's very good. Only 13 Episodes, if I recall correctly, so you could easily get it done quick if you have the time.

Made in Abyss would also be amazing and not too long. Clannad is also great (especially season 2 / after story) (It is a romance, drama, slice of life)

I'm fine with whatever wins, all i'm waiting is the Isekai caterogy gets overtime (like a year's time or 2 yrs), all the main Isekai's for Isekai quartet (Re:Zero, Overlord, Konosuba, Tanya the Evil, are the main ones, tbh Eminence in shadow is new in it, but is starting to feel integral to it, so i count it as main 5, the other 2 in it, are fine as skipped)

Uhhh, the Season 1 to 2 are amazing, but Season 3 would make it hard to recommend tbh, even for the story part, since the anime didn't follow Pheonix man's correct timeline that the manga had, so the anime became something else from the source ...)

In my opinion, watching *Steins;Gate* in this order makes a bigger impact – it’s much better. If you like, you can take my advice and watch it in this order. Steins;Gate: Episodes 1 through 22. • ​Steins;Gate: Episode 23β (Missing Link). • ​Steins;Gate 0: All episodes (1–23). • ​Steins;Gate: Episodes 23 and 24 (Returning to the original series). • ​OVA (Episode 25) and Movie.

People keep saying Dr.stone is an action shonen but i reckon it's mainly non-action. I definitely recommend Dr.stone, it's a completely different branch in term of themes and is extremely refreshing to watch post re-zero 😂

MY RECOMMENDATIONS: 1 - Action Shounen Yu Yu Hakusho! It's a classic, 112 episodes long and complete, from the early 90s. Main character, 14-year-old Urameshi Yusuke gets hit by a car saving a kid and dies, and only then does his story start -- finding out that the kid would have lived anyway and the Spirit World wasn't actually expecting him to die, so he gets a chance to come back. Very fun anime. 2 - Isekai From Bureaucrat to Villainess. *Very* fun concept about a 52-year-old man named Tondabayashi Kenzaburō, a civil servant and otaku, who falls victim to Truck-kun and is reincarnated in a video game his daughter loves -- as the teenage villainess character. The anime is only 12 episodes (so far) and it's really fun, IMO; the relationship Kenzaburō ends up developing with the video game's protagonist, Anna Doll, is very interesting. 3 - Non-fight show This one was HARD to narrow down, but I've settled on Karakurizōshi Ayatsuri Sakon -- officially translated as Sakon the Ventriloquist but often called Puppet Master Sakon -- which is little-known but REALLY good. Tachibana Sakon, a teenage (I think implied to be high school aged?) bunraku puppeteer, takes his child doll puppet, Ukon, everywhere with him; they interact often and seem practically like siblings. But Sakon is brilliant, as well as having a skill that goes beyond puppetry or ventriloquism: He keeps coming upon murder scenes, and is capable of using Ukon to "channel" the deceased person, figuring out the killer by interpreting what he knows about the victim and about their final moments and getting in their heads. It's an absolutely wild anime but surprisingly clever and emotional; its from the late 90s and is complete at only 26 episodes. ...But I'm also going to second the person on your channel who recommended The Tatami Galaxy, because yeah, that one is phenomenal. :D

Action: Vinland Saga is a must-watch for any shounen enjoyer. Other than that, Mob Psycho is also insanely good. Isekai: I don't watch too much Isekai cause 99% is slop, and Mushoku especially for me cause the main character is a creep at the very least. I'd recommend maybe Overlord or Tensura, but neither is peak imo. Non-fight: Made in Abyss or Frieren are both peak

Action Shounen: Solo Leveling Well animated, action focused power fantasy series. Story doesn’t go too deep (for now) but it is still a great time getting hyped because of the fights. Boku no Hero Academia longer series, lots of side movies, starts a little slow but ramps up a lot. Isekai: Mushoku Tensei Does a little bit of everything and does it phenomenally, with the drawback being that the first cour of season 1 can be hard to get through for some people because of the cringe stuff Rudy (mc) does. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Fun show, great character and world building, but also has less depth because it’s a more casual show compared to things like Re:Zero and Mushoku Tensei. Sword Art Online It’s been over 10 years since I watched it so can’t really say if it holds up, but the concept and world were both interesting and I definitely need a reason to rewatch it. Non-fight show: Violet Evergarden Still the most beautifully animated anime that currently exists, with emotional ups and downs that is just an absolute vibe to watch. Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song Interesting plot, Great soundtrack and weirdly good fight choreography in the limited fights it has, same creator as Re:Zero. Assassination Classroom Fun and goofy, more comedy focused anime, that just takes you along for a ride.
