I cried my eyes out like a fcking baby in this episode. 10/10 Next season (5) has no official release date, some people think it will air around 2030~, so it will be a long long time before we see another season of Re:Zero

well, i don’t think i’ve said anything since episode 15. there’s just too much going on for me to comment on all the incredible writing, so i guess i’ll talk a bit in my opinion, the stretch of episodes from 16-19 was incredible. unsurprising, considering that 3 out of the 4 episodes (3/5 titles considering the last episode has 2 titles) are character-named episodes, and re zero has never missed with those from what i can tell. i saw people complaining about how they adapted ep 16 but y’know what it was still a fantastic episode either way imo this is now my favorite season of re zero. just an absolutely amazing experience all around. the absolute best amnesia arc i’ve seen pulled off. the lore drops, the music, the animation. it was all pulled off so amazingly. i’m not surprised if this truly is the peak of the show’s writing because damn it’ll be hard to top that. this is definitely at least partially recency bias, but this might be my favorite season of any anime that i’ve watched so far. i’m gonna miss this show and these reactions. it’ll be so long before we get another season 😭 once again, thank you for watching this show. it’s actually been such a pleasure to be here and comment on peak

Anyways, this is from the author’s twitter. From his words, I don’t think killing gluttony can actually return the names and memories but Emilia was just different with some reasons. So it shouldn’t be a bug of the authroity of Gluttony? And they can’t bet on the chance that killing them all can actually return everyone since there’s only Emilia working with it but Rem and Julius not, I think Julius and Anastasia was right from rational perspective rather than emotional perspective

Well, all good things must come to an end. I tried my best to write a good comment for everyone on every video, and I hope they’ve been helpful, but this is now the last one 💔 Truly, my favorite show of all time. It already was my favorite anime by season 3, but it just keeps getting better. It really feels like it’s catered to me. I was honestly so bummed out today though because it’s done now 😭 I started watching your reactions months ago towards the start of season 2, and I’ve reslly enjoyed trying to leave an informative comment or analysis on every episode. I don’t want to sound too corny, but these reactions have honestly been something I looked forward to every day they were uploaded. It sucks that it’s over now, but it has been such a great series that has helped me appreciate how much of a masterpiece this show is. Season 4 has been so peak… I don’t think I’ve seen a better amnesia arc. It seems like every character had their own entirely unique and interesting character arcs with their own respective moments. Tappei is truly a masterful writer. But of course, the voice acting, ost, and animation was amazing too. In terms of what we know for season 5, it has already been greenlit, which means that it will be entering production soon, if it hasn’t already. Re zero has a history of having huge gaps between seasons (4-5 years), but I don’t think it will take that long because it’s already been greenlit and season 4’s huge success. But then again, the next arc is a big one. So my honest, unbiased guess for the release date of season 5 is probably anywhere from late 2028 to early 2029. I really don’t see it coming any sooner than AT LEAST 2 years from now. (I’ll be reading the novel until then lol) I’ll probably stick around and leave comments still for frieren/MT, and I really need to watch mushoku tensei, so this will give me a great excuse for it. As for frieren, in my opinion, it isn’t really an insanely ambitious masterclass of a show with crazy storytelling (like AOT or something), so it being #1 on MAL is kinda… misleading? Instead, it’s more chill and still has great characters with great dynamics and really high production value. Im not saying it’s bad or underwhelming at all (it actually got me back into watching anime a year ago and I really love it), I just didn’t want you getting the wrong impression or expectations of what it is. Absolute cinema. It’s been amazing being able to comment on these vids with everyone else (shout out ano, Djejek, TheNoGamer and Exi) And actually for the last time, Anosa!

btw, Subaru uses some abilities here, lemme do a little explain E.M.M (Emilia-tan is Seriously a Goddess(Emilia-tan Maji Megami) - Stops time around Subaru and Beako, just like Regulus' authority, nullifying any attacks. But Subaru cant move while using it, and E.M.M drains a huge amount of mana, can only use one time a day. E.M.T (Emilia-tan is Seriously a Angel(Emilia-tan Maji Tenshi)) - simple domain, which cancels every mana and magical effects around the domain field. But E.M.T can also disable his own team's abilities. Murak - Subaru and Beako's bodies become as light as a feather, kicking off the ground makes them leap into air and floats, like zero gravity Absolute Zero, Emilia's present strongest ability, Emilia releases a massive amount of mana at once, instantly freezes the surrounding atmosphere, any object around will feel like ''being frozen'', Emilia will instantly controls the field with Absolute Zero. Also,the names of Emilia's abilities are basicly named by Subaru.

I want to thank you again. Like I said before, I gave Re Zero a second chance because of you, and I ended up loving it. Season 4 was absolutely perfect, and I haven't had this much fun watching something or been this invested in a story in a long time. The characters, soundtrack, sound design, animation, emotions, dialogues, voice acting — everything was amazing. But at the same time, I'm so f*cking pissed. I knew they were gonna pull some bullshit at the end. There are 3 main things that are really pissing me off - Shaula's death, Gluttony and Rem... 1. I'm heartbroken and pissed that Shaula is dead. 💔💔They introduce a new character, let us fall in love with her, and then f*cking kill her. And what makes it even worse is that Subaru isn't gonna live for another 400 years to wait for some kind of reunion with her. That destroys me.😭 2. They left Roy and Rui alive. This one really pisses me off, and I'm honestly so tired of this trope where suddenly we're the "good guys" and we don't kill people anymore 🙂 Julius and Anastasia are f*cking insane for this. There is literally no reason to leave them alive after everything they've done. They could've just shoved their fingers down Roy's throat, made him vomit everyone back up, and then killed him. They could've even cut his stomach open just to make sure. (Idc I hate Gluttony) Anastasia spent the entire season hiding and being AFK, and then at the end she shows up and says, "Anyone who can easily kill others won't have a happy ending." That's some bullshit. 😡Julius probably doesn't want everyone to remember him again if he's willing to go along with this shit. Just like you said, I don't understand why they would leave both Roy and Rui alive when they only need one of them anyway. If they pull some bullshit where Rui/Roy suddenly become our friends and party members, I'm not gonna f*cking handle it.🙏 3. Rem. Exactly what I was afraid of happened, and I genuinely don't understand why Tappei keeps feeling the need to repeat the "Who are you?" bullshit.😭 Rem "came back," but not really. Couldn't they just give her her memories back and let her wake up? No, they had to pull the exact same "Who are you?" bullshit again. At least give us one happy moment😭😭 I'm happy that Rem finally woke up after all these years and seasons, but "Memories are what shape us." Unfortunately, Rem isn't really Rem right now, and even though this looks like a beautiful moment right now, I feel like in Season 5 she's not going to be the same Rem we love. But I'm still so happy she's finally awake. 💙 I'm also not really sure what actually happened at the end. So Rem has her memories back, but she doesn't have her name? She obviously didn't suddenly wake up without both of them, so does that mean everyone can finally remember her again, but she can't remember anything herself, just like Crusch...? Yeah, I'm so depressed we're gonna have to wait until 2029-2030 for Season 5... Before this show really ends, I feel like I'm gonna be 40 years old. That's soooo scary. 💀 The great thing is that White Fox Studio confirmed they will keep animating Re Zero until the end. I also read that Season 5 is greenlit, but it's all just rumors anyway. With how popular and highly rated this season was, I don't think they'll slack off and they'll definitely work hard on the next season. It should take 2-3 years at minimum, because everyone is saying the next arc is really long and should cover like 40 episodes. 🤤 Let's hope everything is gonna be fine and we get another season in 2029/2030. 🫡🫡🫡

I think you forgot last episode, Lye Batenkaitos threw up, all the balls of memories out of his mouth when fighting Ram, because he loved her, and was that much better then these memories. That's why Julius keeping Glutonnies alive is smart, we likely have to make them throw the balls out of them somehow, then kill them.

Not much to say but damn the seasons over all ill rlly say is cor Leonis can share burden on others so Joseph clutched up and took meilis pain. Farsale was mentioned pretty cool one of the 6 from 400 yrs ago: what I think happened is satella wanted to teleport subaru somewhere maybe but volcanica intervened and instead they got sent to that forest. What remains of shaula is the little scorpion and she rest on meilis head because meili controls witchbeasts and shaula is a witchbeast so yeah. Volcanica knows patrasche somehow?? Also you should know the bird watching is Pandora always observes things from afar through white birds throughout the series. What remains with rui is a mystery how did she gain a physical body idk and is that why satella came or something else? Just a lot of questions but now we have to wait years...

No worries, I waited 10 years for Rem to wake up, I will wait another 10 for her to remember :D One theoretical question makes me REALLY afraid, though. When we first met Rem, she hated Subaru and was killing him. The only reason the tides turned is because of the incident Subaru helped to resolve, sooo... WHAT IF Rem won't love Subaru and maybe even hate him in the coming S5 future?
