Yo

Yo. We finally have a real objective for this journey, and it will be going to the same place as last journey. It’ll be cool to see how they will be similar and different. I love the portrayal of humans vs long lived beings in this episode. These longer lived beings (Qual) didn’t even think about how fast humans can progress in such a short time to overcome those that live for so long. Humans simply can’t afford to wait or be hung up on the past and past inventions like they can. Also qual was an INSANELY powerful demon and mage. Not only did he nearly defeat the heroes party (it was them near the beginning of their journey though to be fair, they probably got a lot stronger), but he also came up with a spell that forced the change of magic forever because of how effective it was at killing is crazy. Not only this, but after 80 years and being awake for only a few minutes, he was IMMEDIATELY able to figure out the progress humanity made in all of those 80 years, figuring out how defensive magic worked and its weaknesses I also loved seeing frieren realize during the sunrise that everything doesn’t have to have meaning and purpose for you to enjoy yourself; what matters more is the people that you are with and experiencing a joy with them. Now that we have an objective and other things that will happen, with these next few episodes and onward is when the show really starts getting to its best imo. It becomes a lot more interesting and engaging then it already is, and I think you’ll love it Himmel is the goat🔥

Dont know if anyone did this already but im just leaving here a few Names and what their meaning in German stands for, no guarantees though lmao: - Frieren = Freezing, obviously trying to show her cold nature, especially in the beginning - Himmel = Sky / Heaven, his blue hair was a clue already but i mean he goes to heaven pretty early on so theres that - Eisen = Iron, his race is pretty spot on but his character also shows this somewhat cold, hard nature to it - Heiter = cheerful / slang for being a bit drunk, yeah we see where this came from lmao - Fern = distant, should probably mean her character being distant and emotionless in the beginning, but she obviously gets more and more close to frieren anyway - Qual = agony / torment, yeah, pretty obvious there too - Flamme = flame, red hair and all that and can be tributed to giving the flame to the next generation - Ewig the Sage = eternal, pretty on the nose too, the mage that (not really) would have the solution for immortality... - Ende = End (obviously), the last point on the map i guess the magic spells are mostly gibberish though. i think...
