In the age of ai I fear some people misunderstand the wide range of ways art can be made thinking it's just "pick up a pencil". My art has tons of layers I developed over the years beyond just using a pencil and I think it's cool to share!

Sometimes I mix my own art and photos I take myself into my paintings.

To kickstart this Annie art I sketched it with reference for poses and referencing my own art to keep her design consistent.

Then I used my own Annie butt art to mix into the sketch. I paint over it as I go to blend it in and add new details.

Annie's lace stocking pattern is a design I made myself I transform-warp around her legs.

I used a background painting saved from my previous Christmas art to start the background.

The Christmas tree is also from a picture of my own tree in my living room.
