Another day, another slay - Welcome to the jungle, my fellow Trueclashers

Are we melting away with all the heat? Yes. Are we ridiculously excited for a new patch? Also, yes. Hell yes!

I've been staring at this blank page for so long I'm starting to see shadows on the corner of my eye. There’s a lot to process and a lot to unpack on this patch. Yeah sure, it may be smaller but oh my, it’s quite packed. Grab your coffee, grab your emotional support Otter and prepare yourself to feel ALL the emotions.

Remember when I said Ren was finally getting a quiet week?

I should probably stop lying to myself.

You know… sometimes you've just got to roll with the punches to get to what's real.

Well...

Ren is about to find out how many punches life still has in reserve.

So, what can you actually expect?

You'll finally finish your date with Matt after he takes you somewhere that is genuinely lovely. 

I know, I know

Some of you just sighed dramatically because you're convinced you've already reached your lifetime quota of Matt™ and can’t deal with his righteous self.

Some of you are cheering because you've been waiting for this conversation since approximately the dawn of time.

And some of you are still trying to figure out what the hell is happening with your best friend.

For me? This ended up becoming one of my favorite scenes for the way it allows you to dive in, and everyone will walk away from it with something different. 

Matt has always been pretty good at keeping his emotions in the shadows.

Which makes me wonder...

Do you think his TrueSoul would be different when/if all those walls finally come down? (Does this have anything to do with the patch? nop. Sorry)

But this is TrueClash, and if you thought the patch was just going to be a heartfelt conversation...

Zak has been quietly pulling strings, playing us like puppets from the shadows. You’ll see! Just when you think you may relax, there he comes, once you think you've caught your breath… A new surprise is lurking behind a dark corner.
