This is very random but in thinking about sprinkling a longer (10+ pages) mini comic here and there, SFW or not, something occurred to me. Usually I just get through it all at once and post it in full once it's done, but that can take a while sometimes.

I've seen people update comics page-by-page, or in batches of 2-3 pages weekly, and though I'm not entirely sure what that'd look like on Patreon I wonder if it's something you'd prefer? Either just for mini comics or even for main comic stuff. At the end I'd still compile them into a PDF and a single post I think, or I'd keep it all in the same post and just add pages as I go idk.

I am fine with anything! I follow artists who do page by page, or a few pages or those who drop the whole thing when it's finished. Whatever works for you, works for me. 💗

I'm fine with anything. If you update an earlier post, people won't get notified (maybe there's an option to counter that but it's an issue that happens on other artists' patreons) If you make several posts, I think adding navigation links or creating a gallery can make it easier to follow the story.

I like weekly updates with a separate post for the whole thing once completed, but please don't burden yourself over it. If the complete updates work best for you then I'm happy with that!

I honestly don't have a preference personally. But I think other creators have very much been benefiting from page by page updates, especially with also doing it on social media - delayed from Patreon release ofc. Also adding that updating a post probs isn't best for visibility in general.

I think it is what works best for each artist. Some that I follow do one page a week. Some do a few pages ever few weeks. It has to be what works for you.

Whatever works best for you! I've seen other artists post page by page or weekly updates with a final full upload at the end.

I don't bother to read daily uploads, or even couple pages/weeks. I don't mind if artist does that, but I rather read more pages on one go, I remember better what has happened so far. So usually I either read full chapter or wait that there is roughly ten pages before I check the story again.

I can totally roll with lil 2-3 page bursts (doesn't have to be weekly if you think you need more space to breathe lol) rather than getting just one page and wanting more or having you push out a full comic in one go ; it's good middle ground. But I'll always support whatever works best for you!!

I'm one of the people who prefers to read the whole thing at once, though I follow a few different creators, who have different approaches, and it has never been a factor in my support. So despite having a mild preference, I think whatever works/is most sustainable for the creator is best

Hmm personally I see page by page posts as good for boosting the visibility / tease the content on SoMe but I would read a whole thing once it gets posted. I mean I would check single posts too, but it’s easier to appreciate the storytelling in a longer form. But you do you and whatever keeps the engagement! 🫡
