Changing Gears (Patreon)

A bad businessman gets a sudden change in gear, becoming a lot more welcoming as well as much more nice to look at.

I'm not sure what her business strategy is, but I'd be happy to invest into. :D

So this is the animation I was trying to make, or at least, this is version one of it, as it doesn't even hit second gear yet.

So for some reason, everything in this started off easy enough, got the two starter panels done up, went to animate the gear and for the most part, seemed fine? But then when trying to also rotate the gear, it completely exploded. The gear rotated at random axis, the entire animation timeline break constantly, everything desync'd despite being all linked together, and finally after all that, I had to export this as the super gigantic version you see at the end there with the big open space then import THAT gif into krita and THEN crop the image to the correct sizes. All because the gear would delete itself if I tried to crop normally. And JUST the gear. <_<

You might have guessed, but the gear in this is MASSIVLY bugged, wasted hours and hours of time and then, at the end, would crash krita if I tried to just copy and paste just the image of the gear itself. So, uh. A bit of a mess. :)

Luckily, the animation version and the original version with just the sketches are separate files, so next attempt I have a clean slate to retry it with. Which will still pay off when I get to it because... there IS meant to be another panel. :D

This has... a lot included. Animation full and half size, the sequence version without animation and the separate panels. The super big one shows a bit of the silliness put into it to get this one to just work, so at least there's that.
