Wishing Big (Patreon)

Two people show up at a shrine and make wishes, all while the shrines guardian spirit watches them and reads what they have in mind. Or at least, tries to, as it seems this spirit hasn't heard the language the two were thinking, and could only get tiny glimpses of what they wanted. At least, what they think they wanted?

After much deliberation, the spirit decides to grant the wishes of the two... people? The spirit also didn't quite understand differences in people either? Whatever the case, it got enough words to mostly grant wishes... and while it lacked understating of language... and people... and many other things... it did understand one thing. BIG YURI!

Hm. Spirit might not be qualified for this job? :)

So this is completely new for the pub day. Rushed and quickly done up, but new! The thing that would have been here couldn't get done because my thumb is wonky, and while this was a lot of new stuff to do with a wonky thumb, it's also less work then what the other thing would have needed. So it balanced out. Maybe?

I also had an extremely bad work day that took up all my time too, so on top of a wonky thumb, I also didn't have that much time, so I just did whatever came to mind, no matter how odd the idea. A very big wish. :)

This has a lot of very classic TG BE setups, just straight to the changes! Also a bit classic in the... sizes? Yesterdays thing had side profile characters and since it was fresh in mind, went with it for this, at least the direction they are facing. Could be a bit wonky since I've not had too much practice?

Basically had zero time to relax after work as well and hopped directly onto this when I got home, so gonna finally go and relax and let my thumb grow back, or something. :)

Hope your thumb gets better. And I'm still amazed you manage to draw these even though work is keeping you busy. I don't have energy to do anything after a hard day of work, that's very admirable. Just don't burden yourself too much. And I guess this spirit didn't pass the tests to understand humans well, or maybe it's a fraud?! But it looks like these two are actually liking what happened? Sooo... no harm done?

Since there was still work, it didn't get the chance to properly recover yet, but now that it's done I can let it rest a bit, at least till exclusive time comes around tonight? But for this, I did have a bit of a cheat sheet set up before hand for what I'd draw and everything like that. I knew I had work and little time, though still not expecting to have so very little time, so a bit of pre-visuals helped speed things up. :) It's why a lot of stuff in this is very similar to other stuff or even just the characters to each other, it's stuff I've done before that could easily be sketched. The majority of the work was the color and BG work due to this and as you can see, a lot of aspects of how I color are missing or side stepped since they would have effected the thumb. :) As for the work load, actually more thinking of what the exclusive will be like then this one. Will have to see how goes there. ^^; For the spirit, they do seem to have not quite matched the job with the qualifications, but as you say, both seem happy with it? Or at least the one is happy enough for the both of them, so managed to his some kind of goal at least. :)
